Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at and showing you how to install these Weathertech No-Drill Mud Flaps on our 2022 Ram 1500. We've got them on the rear in the set as well as on the front of the vehicle. You can get these as just the front or just the rear, or you can get the complete kit to outfit your entire vehicle for a nice custom fit. Let's check them out.
Now you can really see that custom fit well from the back. You can see this line matches and contours around what's already existing on the vehicle here. Now if yours is a little bit different than this, don't worry. There's three different kits that are custom fit for the Ram. So it's just a matter of what trim you have and which one's going to match your truck.
We'll touch on that a little bit more in the install though, so stay tuned. Each one uses existing factory holes to attach. So there's no drilling involved. And you've got the RH or LH to determine whether it's a passenger or driver's side. So they're really easy to get installed.
It's gonna be a thermal plastic construction. It's nice and durable, and it's gonna keep your vehicle protected from dirt and debris from kicking up or maybe even a trailer behind you or even another car. And like I said, the install is really straightforward, no drilling required, and it uses factory holes. Let's check out that process now. Whether you went with the kit for the front and back or just the front or just the back, install process is gonna be pretty much the exact same.
You also wanna make sure you pick up the proper pair. There are a couple of different fits depending on our trim level. So for ours today, we're using this one because it matches up with what's here on the factory. You can see, slotting it up, everything aligns with the factory holes. And just to show you a bit of the other options kind of side by side, you can see how these cutouts differ from one another. So before you get these, just go and check what's on your truck already, see what lines up to these different fits, and make sure you pick up the right pair. So we have a plastic fastener we need to remove first that we can just use a trim removal tool. And then we've got some screws, one, two and three up in the wheel well that we'll use a 5/16th socket to remove. Now when you're removing these, be careful because you do want to reuse them later when we install the mud flap. Now as we remove this last screw, this portion may want to kind of fall off. It's gonna hold itself in place because of one other fastener, but just remember, you need to keep this in place because that does fit and contour around this piece for the mud flap. Once all those fasteners are removed though we can get things lined up. And I'm gonna start by securing it loosely with a screw in the top hole, just kind of hand tight to hold everything in place. And then I can do my plastic fastener in the very last hole towards the inside here. Get that secured in. Then I'm gonna fully tighten this top screw putting some pressure on the mud flap to keep it aligned properly. And then we can go back through and tighten up all the other screws. Once everything is firmly in place and tightened down you can do the same thing for the driver's side. And then if you've got the full kit, you can start on the rear. And for the rear, the only thing that's different is you don't have that plastic fastener. When we line it up, we've just got these three holes that align with the three screws that we're removed and reinstalled. And that was our look at the Weathertech No-Drill Mud Flaps on our 2022 Ram 1500..

These install with ease. I would give this a 1 wrench install and that is because you need that 8mm to get the original bolts out. They matched up great to the 2025 Ram 3500 dually w/o fender flare.
Mudflaps fit nicely and are relatively easy to install. HOWEVER, the instructions for the rear flaps are not right. The instructions tell you to remove the screws holding the fender line to the bed, except there aren't any screw - on mine anyway. There are plastic plugs instead. I looked up the OEM install and you're just supposed to run the screws into these plastic plugs. So once I did that, the rears installed fine. But it threw me for a loop when the install instructions didn't match my truck.
Attaching an image of how my rear fenders are from the factory. Note there are no screws.
Super easy install great factory look and they actually do help i have a white ram 2500 that used to look dirty from any water on the road 5 feet after the car wash now I dont have to wash my truck every day to keep it looking clean 5 car washes a week is $100 at $20 each so these pay for them selfs
I ordered Weather Tech mud flaps for my GMC Sierra 1500. The front flaps were easy to install by using existing fasteners installed on the truck by GMC. The rear flaps were slightly more challenging requiring the placement of clamps (integral to the flaps) on the rear fender. The entire installation of all flaps required about 45 minutes. they look great and they will protect my fenders from being damaged by road debris.
Vehicle: 2026 Ram 3500 Dually. Ordering was simple with website identifying which items fits my truck. Arrived quickly and tracking update to date to prepare for arrival. Ordered for all 4 tires. Took less than 20 minutes using the 2 factory screws. Nice factory molded look. Awareness, The rear are shorter than your typical rubber mudflats.
Are you serious with the question or is this just a computer generated inquiry?
This is a good investment. First, etrailer is a great place to get what you need for supplies! The weathertech mud flaps are a great addition to a raised F-250 with larger tires that pulls. This will provide the rest of the protection I need as well as cut down on debris that the tires throw up at other cars/trucks. Very easy to install and if I want to remove them then I have all the pieces necessary except for the push grommets which I can get anywhere. I think I will leave them on for a while....not bad looking either.
The Weather Tech mud flaps are very well made, fit perfectly and are very simple to install. I’m very impressed with them and they really help protect the body of my Jeep Grand Cherokee.
the fit was very good with the mud flaps fitting with my factory fender trim. The only issue was the clips that came with the setup. there were supposed to be 4 and there were only 2 in the packaging.
I purchased these for my wife's new 2031 chevy traverse. They look great and were easy to install. I have had many weather tech products through the years and have been very happy with them.
Fits my 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 custom front steering wheels mud flaps. Bolts on correctly and fits good.
Weather tec is great, getting it from e trailer is also great. As the fit is always guaranteed. There customer service and follow up is second to none.
Mudflaps fit perfect and look great. Great business to deal with and fast shipping
Front mudflaps were easy to install. Rear mudflaps need a new design. Instead of a bolt, two washers, and a lock nut, WT should use some sort of insert into the whole where the bolt goes through. It is extremely difficult to get the washer and lock nut onto the bolt as the area is small. Something like a drywall anchor in the hole and then screw into the anchor. Finished product looks great. Please pass my comments onto Weather Tech.
Easy installation. Instructions are easy to understand.
Would have gave a 5 rating but had trouble with a flawed supplied screw clip so took a bit longer on the install. Had to remove the clip and modify so supplied screw would thread into clip. This happened to be the last screw to tighten.
WeatherTech products looks fantastic and are easy to install. This set was simple to install on a 2021 RAM Power Wagon
Quick shipping was always from etrailer. Product was a perfect fit on my vehicle and easy install took about 30 minutes.
These were easy to install and look great on my 2023 F350 dually. I was a little concerned about how close the passenger side one is to the exhaust tips. Have only used them on one 2 hour drive but so far so good.
These no drill mud flaps are easy to install and look factory after installation. I was told by Weather tech they would not fit my 2025 F450, but they were wrong, they fit perfectly. I wish they used black screws and washers, it would look more finished than an after thought with the stainless metal screws and washer. Great product, would recommend, thus the five star rating. I have been using Weather tech products for years.
Vehicle 2026 Ram 2500 Dually. Ordering was super easy to identify the mudflats for my vehicle. Quick delivery with tracking to prepare when they arrive. Installation: Use the 2 current factory screws on each fender for a quick install, less than 20 minutes for all 4 a nice clean factory molded look. Front length looks good. Just for awareness. The rear isn’t as long as your typical rubber mudflap if you are looking for something that hangs closer to the ground. Hopefully can see the length in the photos.
Great product. Excellent quality. Looks great. Very simple to install. Took about 15 minutes to install. Fit was perfect. No adjustments to make. Fast shipping.
Did not fit correctly. Too narrow to fit the truck wheel well. Got them on but not what I expected for the price.

Hi Raymond, I'm glad you were able to get these to fit. These are designed to fit your 2025 Ram 1500 if you do not have the fender flares or lip molding.
