Question:
Hello I recently purchased an Andersen wdh with 2 ball hitch. My RV dealer was misinformed and I actually need a 2 5/16 ball. Is there any way I can switch out just the ball portion or the whole unit for the correct size?

Hello Travis,
Congrats on the new camper, and welcome to etrailer!
Since you just purchased your Andersen weight distribution hitch from us, I know you have the newer version with the silver zinc-plated tension plate, which is the plate underneath the ball housing, so I have some good news! You do not need to replace the whole hitch.
You will just need the Replacement 2-5/16" Weight Distribution Ball for Andersen Weight Distribution Hitches # AN23VR. You can swap out your current 2" ball for the 2-5/16" ball and keep the rest of your setup exactly as it is.
I am looking into if we can do the swap, we will be reaching out. But in case you want to just buy the extra ball, then you could have both =)
Is this your first pull behind camper? Where's the first big adventure?
