Hello neighbors, I'm Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's talk ramps. Today, we're looking at our etrailer Aluminum Car Hauler Ramp Set. These guys are gonna be four feet long and rated at 6,000 pounds capacity. Now I wanna throw up an image of kind of what these could look like on a trailer. Keep in mind these guys are four foot, the trailer in that picture is actually kinda high for the ramps, in my opinion.
We recommend a max loading height on these ramps of 12 inches off the ground. If I had to guess, that trailer there is probably 16 to 20 inches off on the top deck there. So again, maybe not that particular style of use, but I do want to kind of show next to a trailer to give you a visual. Now, backing back out here folks, you're gonna get a set of two of these car hauler ramp, and again, you're gonna be able to load your vehicle side by side, ATV, mower, farm equipment maybe, that kind of stuff, or even a car, as these are rated up to 6,000 pounds. Now they do have nice coated texture on them in different spots.
That's for loading and unloading. So starting on the side here, you got the lip here that's got a rubber coating on it. And if you'll see you've got this latch here, I'm gonna show you a closeup of both of them in action later on, but that's how you would actually store the ramps that can latch together. That's one side. And on the other side here, you've got a matching bracket.
And when we put both ramps together here in a minute, you'll see how those two fit together nice and snug and make carrying it very convenient. As you can see, I got this strap wrapped around the third rung of the ramp here, so you wanna make sure that's wrapped around like so. And then it has a strap, and this strap has a hook on it and another eyelet. So whatever's the best way for you to latch it, probably the hook. You wanna latch that to either the under side of the trailer or up higher on the trailer or something, and then tighten that strap down.
That way these ramps are held tightly in place onto the trailer and they're not gonna fall and come unhooked or anything. Now I'll zoom back out here again. Real quick, I wanna tell you that again, these are the four footers. We do offer these in the five foot or six foot option, as well. You can get them here separately here at etrailer.com. I'll put the item numbers up on the screen. And like I said, folks, these are rated at 6,000 pounds capacity, 3,000 per ramp. They are four foot long by 14 and a half inches wide. Thickness, they're about three and three quarter inches thick. Now the safety straps that come with them are six foot long by one inch wide. And these ramps, when you have them both together, only weigh 15 and a quarter pounds. Before I put 'em together, I wanna show you just how easy they are to use. So you can see it's got this built-in handle on it. It's got a nice rubber grip on it that can fold flat. And like I said, they're pretty light. Now, I did wanna show you how these two guys go together. So when you're done using them, right, you wanna put 'em away. Obviously, you wanna take the strap off first. Lemme get that outta the way and take the strap off. All right, so we got the strap off. You wanna make sure one set is upward, so the tabs that are going in are upward. And the other set of tabs, you wanna make sure are facing down. And then those two will just kind of join together, like such. You can put the latch on it. Top and bottom. And then do the same thing for the other side. And then you got both handles, and you can carry it away nice and easy. So pretty simple design. Again, nice, lightweight. Again, the whole thing is about 30 pounds, 30 and a half pounds together. So a very nice ramp kit. Again, car hauler ramps, ATVs, mowers, that kind of thing. Folks, they are a hundred percent aluminum, so it's gonna be nice, corrosion-resistant. They're very comparable to other ramps this size, this length, this thickness and everything that are out there in the market. I've been looking a lot around different websites and these are pretty, pretty good price compared to the rest of those. So, a nice set of ramps. Highly recommend 'em if you're looking for a nice set of ramps. Well, folks, it is gonna wrap it up today. My name again is Steven. Thank you so much for your time. Have a great day and stay safe out there hauling.
