This winch was made to handle your 20' boat. It's rated at 3,200 lbs and offers 2 cranking speeds so you can get the torque you need to manuever your boat onto the trailer. The zinc plating makes it resistant to corrosion.
Note: Straps and cables are not included.
This winch has a low-speed option and a high-speed option. You can shift between the two by attaching the handle to the two input shafts. Quickly take up the slack with the high-speed mode, then shift to low speed to get more pulling power and manuever your boat into place.
The slotted screw holes on the winch give you lots of leeway for where and how you can mount it. It's easy to replace your old hand winch, even if it's from a different brand like Fulton or Dutton-Lainson.
This steel winch is zinc plated to prevent rust and corrosion. It will have no problem handling water.

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Curt Two Speed Boat Trailer Winch. It has a 3,200 pound weight capacity. Now this winch is made to handle your 20 foot and larger boat. It's rated at 3,200 pounds, and it'll offer two cranking speeds so that you can get the torque you need to maneuver your boat onto the trailer.
The windshield have a low speed option, which is where the handle's located right now. That low speed option when you crank it is gonna be 17.5 to one. And then if you detach the handle, you just push in on this, remove it. That bottom is where you push. Install it onto the other option.
Get it lined up, just like that. Push it in all the way. It'll lock into place. And now you're at the high speed option, which will give you a 5.4 to one ratio. And as you can see, just by removing this handle, bring it back and forth, you can shift between the two by attaching the quick attach handle to the different input shafts.
The handle length, which is measured from here to here, is gonna be about nine and a half inches. And this will let you quickly take up slack with the high speed mode, then you could shift it back to the low speed to get more pulling power and maneuver your boat into place. This is made of a high quality Concord steel construction for reliable performance. The solid gears provide superior strength versus laminated gears. And this winch does have a 600 hour salt spray test for zinc plating for lasting corrosion resistance.
It's excellent for marine applications. The metal bushings in this are oil impregnated for smooth operation. On the very bottom, you can look right here, it has easy slotted screw holes on the winch. Gives you a lot of leeway for how you could mount it. So it's very easy to replace your old hand winch, even if it's a different brand like Fulton or Dutton-Lainson. Now the hub itself is, the diameter on the hub right in here is one and one eighth inches. The width, which is the measurement here for your strap or cable, two and a half inches wide. Now the straps and cables are not included. You would have to purchase those separately. And again, the weight capacity is 3,200 pounds. And again, just to show you, if you push in at the bottom of the handle, it'll allow you to remove it, spring load it. If you push back at the bottom, you can install it on the other one just like that, and you're all ready to go. So it's very easy to switch from one speed to the other. But that's gonna do it for a look at this Curt Two Speed Boat Trailer Winch with a 3,200 pound capacity.
