I'm so happy with this winch it's just what we needed at etrailer does a great job with tech support. The cordless drill tool.is amazing for our boat trailer and other trailer we own .

This is a very well built and solid winch. It is exactly what I was looking for in my application. I put it on a log arch I had welded together to lift some pretty heavy logs, and it does so with ease. The hand brake comes in very handy, and works amazingly well.
I used this for raising and lowering a 40' 1 ton antenna tower. It's mounted on my garage roof and tips the antenna up and down similar to a boat (not vertical lift). I had a cheap 800lb rated winch that was very difficult to crank. This winch is perfect! Very well built. It has a high 17.3 :1 crank ratio that is superb. I can now do this job with one hand and hardly any effort. The manual brake is a nice feature but it has so little load on the crank I really didn't need it, for a large boat I could see where it would be useful. E trailer shipped it free and it arrived in just 2 days. They offered assistance all through the purchase, but I did not need it.
Very impressed and I will be doing business with them again!
I use it as a dock winch. In low gear I a 18' x 36' steel dock up a 10% grade with no problem.
Super nice winch! I installed the winch on a heavy duty 17' boat trailer carrying an all- welded wide body Tracker grizzly loaded heavy with catfish trot line gear. I'm 70+ years old and was struggling to load the boat full of fish after a day on the water with the factory furnished winch. The D-L 2-speed winch makes the job easy, even for an old duffer like me.
I used this winch all last summer, taking my 24' cuddy cabin boat on and off the trailer. I am a 34 year old, 120lb woman, and trailer my boat by myself all the time. This winch made It much easier for me to get my boat on the trailer. I would use it in high gear and then switch it to low for the last foot or so, to get the boat positioned where it needed to be. I would definitely recommend this product.
Monster winch with lots of torque. Only complaint: Unit does not come with three 3/8" x 1.5" long Grade 5 or Grade 8 attachment bolts, nuts, & washers. It also does not come with a 3/8" x 3.25" long Grade 5 or 8 winch strap bolt & nylon lock nut. It is unlikely that you will find this bolt locally. More likely than not, you'll have to order it on the Internet...
I put it on my boat trailer and used it today. The winch was very smooth and easy to crank. I got it in a couple of days. Time will tell on the life of the winch, I fish all the time.
Excellent product. I installed it on a livestock loading chute I converted from a 12V system to this two speed winch and it fit the bill perfectly.
I love it! Works great! Good workmanship. Don't think I'll need to replace it for a very long time, if ever.
Will be used on log hauler. Have completed build and installed winch, but have not tested yet. Will do so soon. After small mix-up I received the products I needed and service was great as always.

This winch after a year of use has gone way beyond my expectations. I Could not be happier! When my other old boat winch goes I will definitely be buying the same brand and from etrailer.
