Specs:
The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.
This light has an industry-standard PL-3 connection as pictured above. The light accepts a 3-prong plug (sold separately).
Recessed-mount trailer lights install underneath a housing or a grommet (A70GB - sold separately). These lights will extend into the mounting surface and require that a hole be cut into your trailer.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Optronics sealed 6 inch oval LED turn signal and parking light. This oval trailer light serves as a rear turn signal light and parking light for your trailer. It features the sonically sealed waterproof housing and lens unit that is submersible, and it is an LED system.LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, they burn brighter, and they're more efficient. With LEDs you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about inaudible 00:00:26 filaments. This unit features a polycarbonate lens and housing, it's very strong and durable. Nice clear lens with amber LEDs.
The light can be mounted in any 360 position. In order to mount it, you will need a mounting grommet which is sold separately and available at etrailer.com. Then you'll also need a standard three prong plug, which is sold separately and available at etrailer.com as well. When it comes to the dimensions of the unit starting with the overall length, it measures about 6-7/16 inches long. Edge to edge going this direction, just the lens is about 2-1/8. If we go overall, it's about 2-5/16.
Then the thickness of this portion here is about one inch thick. If we include the plug at the back, then it extends to about 1-3/4 inches deep, or thick. We're gonna go and hook it up to power, that way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it, and then we'll also be able to turn off overhead lights so you can see it in a lower light setting. So we'll take our three prong plug, push it all the way in 'til it seats all the way.Now you can see here that the light sends out a nice, clear, consistent signal. Again, clear lensing with amber LEDs. When it comes to that tail light function or just, you know, the lights on when we have power running to it, the power draw at 12.8 volts is 0.046 amps.
When we apply the turn signals, you can see how that signal output increases. Really nice design. The power draw when those are activated at 12.8 volts is 0.243 amps. Optronics also covers the unit with a lifetime LED warranty. That's gonna do it for today's look at the sealed six inch oval LED turn signal and parking light from Optronics.
