Backing up in the dark? This light's got your back. It fits right into your trailer's 6-1/2" cutout and throws steady white light through a smoked lens. It's easy to wire, holds up to road grime, and won't overload your system.
Backing into a dark driveway or lining up a trailer after sunset isn't when you want your lighting to fail. This light gives you the visibility you need without adding bulk or complicating your setup. The sealed housing holds up to road spray, washdowns, and grit. The low power draw keeps circuits stable, even on older rigs. It's designed to work hard in bad conditions, not just look good in the catalog.

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Optronics LED Backup Light for your truck or trailer. It features six diodes, it's an oval shaped smoke lens, and you're gonna get quantity one. So folks, overall it's your standard six and a half inch long, two and one quarter inches wide, and about one and three quarter inches thick or deep. And as you can see, it's very bright and visible.
I'll go ahead and shut off the overhead lights while we're talking about it. And this is gonna be a recess mount that fits snug inside of your basic cutout. Excuse me, I lost it. There we go. And once you get it in place, it's gonna be low profile.
It's a simple wire. You can use a two pin or a PL three plug, and that's gonna go right in there. Straight or right angle pigtails work. So it's a fast, easy, no fuss insulation. Lemme see if I can zoom out here and give you a better view from far away.
There we go. It's street legal on the backup light. It meets all DOT standards, and it is compliant and visible on the road day or night. And as you can see, my camera wants to auto adjust, so forgive me there. Let's go ahead and pop the lights back on here.
Okay, and then zooming back in with it off. So now you can kind of see that smoke lens a little better. Those six diodes inside there. And then once again, you have the three recess prongs down inside of there. Again, you can accept a straight or right angle pigtail, two or three. This LED gives you low draw but high output and only uses about 0.26 amps at 12 volts. So it's very bright for what little power that it's using. Now you will need a grommet or bracket, sold separately, if you don't already have that on your trailer or truck. And that's gonna wrap it up for a look together. I'm Steven.
rugged and bright
