This one features a nice durable polycarbonate housing with an acrylic lens. It is compatible with 12-volt electrical systems, and here on the back, it accepts an industry standard two-prong plug which is sold separately and available at etrailer.com.Also, when mounting, it's a grommet-mount installation, and the grommet is sold separately as well, also available at etrailer.com if needed.
It is Department of Transportation compliant. It meets FMVSS 108 requirements in any 360-degree position. When it comes to the overall diameter of the unit, that's measuring edge to edge, it's about two-and-a-half inches. The overall depth, I'm just measuring the lens, it's three-quarters of an inch. It contains a total of three LEDs.Now we're going to go ahead and hook it up to power.
That way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. Then we'll also turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a low-light setting. So here's a two-prong plug. It goes directly into the connection points around the back of the light, pushes in. So you can see here the light sends out a nice bright consistent signal, three diode or three LED design really helps optimize the overall light output.
