Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this MEC Propane Hose. Now, this is a relatively short, 18-inch-long hose designed to carry propane between compatible low-pressure components such as a regulator and propane appliance. This is gonna make the most sense for those components when they're mounted fairly close together and you don't want a lot of extra hose. The main thing to check before picking this up is the connection type. This hose has a 3/8-inch female flare swivel on both ends, so the components you're connecting need compatible 3/8 of an inch male flare fittings to work with this.
The swivel ends also make the connections easier to work with during installation. The hose itself is made from thermoplastic and has fully crimped brass barrels. It has a 1/4 of an inch inside diameter. This is rated for working pressures up to 350 PSIG and has a 400-pound pull test rating. And this hose is UL and CGA-approved for propane service.
