Old incandescent lights fade fast and burn out when you need them most. This rectangular LED tail light uses twelve red diodes that last up to 50 times longer than standard bulbs. With a power draw of only 0.405 amps for stop/turn and 0.038 amps for tail at 12.8 volts, it gives you bright, even light while keeping current use low. You get all three functions—stop, turn, and tail—in one durable light that doesn’t need bulb replacements or worry about brittle filaments.
If you run your trailer through rain or launch it in water, this light can handle it. The housing and lens are sonically sealed into a single waterproof unit, protecting the LEDs and circuit board from moisture and corrosion. It’s fully submersible, making it a solid choice for wet environments where traditional lights would fail.
Sometimes you want lights that sit cleanly against the surface without sticking out. This recessed-mount design installs inside a grommet (A33GB sold separately), creating a tidy, built-in appearance and keeping the light protected from bumps or snags. The compact 5-5/16" x 3-7/16" x 1-15/16" size fits neatly into most recessed housings while still providing strong visibility.
No special adapters or wiring tricks needed here. This light accepts an industry-standard 3-prong PL-3 plug (A45PB sold separately), so hooking it up is quick and straightforward. Just connect your right-angle pigtail or straight plug and you’re ready to go without cutting or splicing wires.
The polycarbonate housing and acrylic lens add extra durability for long-term use on the road or around the water. They resist impact and UV damage while keeping the LEDs safe inside a sealed body that’s built to last. Today we're going to be taking a look at part number STL33RB. This is the Optronics Sealed Flush-Mounted Tall Rectangle LED trailer light. The red rectangular light is going to serve three functions, such as your stop, turn and tail light. It's going to feature a sealed waterproof housing, as well as a sealed and waterproof lens unit. It's going to feature a corrosion-resistant design, 12 LEDs or Light Emitting Diodes. LEDs are a great system to have in place.
They're going to burn brighter, they're going to use less power, they're going to have a quicker activation when compared to incandescent lights. You also don't have to worry about replacing any bulbs or brittle filaments. Here on the back side, you can see that it has a three-prong connection. This is going to accept your industry-standard three-prong plug. That's going to be sold separately. You can find that here at etrailer.com using part number A45PB.
This is a flush-mount design. It's going to need the mounting grommet, which is going to be sold separately as well. You can find that here at etrailer.com with part number A33GB. If we take a look at the overall dimensions, it's going to give us an overall length of 5 and 5/16ths of an inch, an overall width of 3 and 7/16ths of an inch, and then an overall depth of 1 and 15/16ths of an inch. This light is going to draw 0.405 and .038 amps at 12.8 volts, and it is Department of Transportation approved. I want to go ahead and plug it into our external power source. That way you can see what it looks like with power running to it.
Three-prong connection goes in this slot back here, line up the plug and then just push it into place. You can see how it creates a nice tight seal around those connection points. This is going to be the tail light function. When we apply our brakes, you can see how that illuminates for a brighter signal, and it's also going to do that when we activate our turn signal. Direct replacement for my tail lights on my Aluma Car trailer
Qua;ity part. It was a replacement for a failed tail light. It still works.

Replaced all the LED lights on my Aluma M10 trailer. Everyone of the lights exact replacements for what was on there. I am a repeat customer because of the Customer Service and quality of items that etrailer.com provides.
15 year old enclosed trailer with dual rear lights (tail/brake/turn) on each side, old incandescent type. One light finally went out, sealed so no bulb replacement possible. Found etrailer via web search, ordered light that appeared to have same/similar dimensions and same 3-prong connector. Fit trailer perfectly, including fitting into rubber surround/mount, and existing connector - no wiring change required, totally plug-and-play. LED is so much brighter and looks so much better, now ordering three more to replace the rest of the old lights. Nice product.
Easy to find, good price and quick shipping. Fits and works fine. The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars was that the picture shows the light’s connection as being recessed (what my old one was) but this one’s connection protruded. I don’t have a lot of room behind the light. I was able to make it work, but would have preferred it to be recessed as was shown in the picture on the web site.

Still working. A good purchase.
I think the light is going to be good just looking at it. Three stars in because it doesn’t match the picture. The picture matches exactly what I have now but the one you get is deeper overall. Probably 3/8” deeper. It is barely going to work for me.
I have a 97 Cargo Mate and I wanted to make the conversion to LED lights. The lights and grommets were a perfect upgraded match. So much brighter and better peace of mind when traveling in inclement weather to be seen from behind. Everything was great quality and shipped fast
