Features to know about

Brighter, Longer-Lasting Lighting: 57-Diode LED Tail Light

Old bulbs fade, burn out, and draw more power than they should. This Jeep-style combination trailer tail light uses 57 LEDs that last up to 50 times longer than standard incandescent lights. With dedicated diodes for each function—16 for the tail light, 36 for the backup light, and 5 for the license plate—it delivers sharp illumination while drawing minimal power at 12.8 volts (0.308 amps for stop/turn, 0.013 amps for tail, and 0.328 amps for backup). That means bright, reliable light with less load on your system and no bulbs to replace.

One Light That Does It All: 5-Function Combination Design

When space is tight or you just want a cleaner setup, this single light covers every major lighting need. It combines stop, tail, turn signal, backup, and license plate lights into one sturdy unit. The red and clear lenses clearly separate visibility functions so other drivers can easily see what you’re doing on the road. DOT compliance ensures it meets FMVSS 108 and CMVSS 108 standards for lighting safety and performance.

Built Tough for Everyday Use: Durable Plastic Housing

Lights take a beating on the road. The Optronics design uses a rugged plastic housing with an acrylic lens that resists cracking and vibration damage. The housing is surface-mounted using included studs for a solid fit that holds up well over time. At 6-3/4" long x 5-13/16" wide x 2-11/16" deep, it has a sturdy footprint that fits most installs without modification.

Straightforward Wiring and Mounting: Simple 4-Wire Setup

Getting this light powered up is easy thanks to its molded 4-wire harness. White is ground, black runs the tail and license plate lights, red controls stop/turn signals, and yellow handles reverse. Just mount it with the included studs, connect the wires by function, and you’re ready to roll. No guesswork or special tools needed—just a clean, reliable connection you can trust every time you tow.

We purchased these to replace the standard bulb fixtures on one of our fleet vehicles. What a huge difference! Now you can see the lights from a mile away. Installation was also as easy as could be. Great product!

These are the exact ones I needed to replace the old ones on my 1980 C-10 Chev. SWB Stepside PU. The originals (on a barn find) were eaten off the truck by a Rottweiler Dog. Bringing the old girl back- she is in wonderful shape. These look and fit perfectly.thanks, and your return policy worked great too, for those trial and error tries. Thanks , have used several of your products and am very happy.

by:

Fit perfect.. reverse light could be brighter so I’m adding led lift strips and tapping into the reverse wire to add to it.

by:

Excellent communication, fast shipping, great price, would definitely buy from ETRAILER again!

by:

Nice product...well made..it will serve my purpose... price is right..service e is amazing !!

by:

Lights are installed, we can't get the brake light to work when the lights are on.....brake light works when the lights are off. We are figuring it is a grounding issue, as Jeep CJ5's are notorious for grounding issues. We have even ran a ground from one of the bolts that hold the light on the Jeep. Again, we are sure it is a grounding issue with the Jeep itself. Thank you for a great product, for the fast shipping, great pricing and continued follow up. Will buy from etrailer.com again when more items are needed. THANK YOU!!

My main purpose for my visit to the website was to purchase a tail light for our Semi truck. I had looked and visited local truck parts houses and even the International truck dealership with no luck. The site was extremely helpful in allowing me to match the light. They had a large selection, very helpful videos showing the light, its dimensions, and how it functioned. This will be my first stop the next time I need parts for our Semi, our trailers or any thing else we may need or our equipment.
Thank you etrailer!

  • Comparing the Hot-Line LED Trailer Backup Light and GloLight LED Combination Trailer Tail Light
In regards to light output, the Hot-Line LED Trailer Backup Light part # 328-003-6017W will physically put out more light than the reverse light portion of the GloLight LED Combination Trailer Tail Light part # STL161RLB as it has twice as many diodes (12 vs 6). In order to run the reverse light circuit you can use part # 16-1-1 (per foot).

  • Recommended Replacement Tail Lights For Obsolete KD 460 Tail Light Lenses On Hay Bale Truck
I have a recommendation for you as it does appear the KD 460 tail lights are going to be obsolete. The only place I could find information on them is on vintage camper sites. Since you mentioned the lights were on a hay truck I recommend using the Jeep-Style LED Combination Trailer Tail Lights Driver # STL60RLBP or Passenger # STL60RB. The only difference in these lights is the drivers side has a bottom LED light to illuminate a license plate if you do not have a separate plate light. If...

  • Replacement Tail Light Assemblies for 1976 Argosy Camper
The issue that you're going to run into here is that the lip that you removed is designed to allow you to mount lights on the back because of the curved ends. Because it's such a smooth curve there, you're not going to be able to use something like the Bargman Wraparound Clearance/Side Marker Light - 86 Series - Red - Black Base # 30-86-202. With that said, I'll mention two options for you that you could likely make work by moving the electrical wiring in a bit. First, you could use the...

  • Are There Two Jeep-Style Trailer Combination Tail Lights
The Jeep-Style Trailer Combination Tail Light # ST60RB, which is an incandescent light, does not have two separate versions, one for the driver side and one for the passenger side. If you wanted to go with the higher-quality LED version of this light there are driver and passenger side models: the Jeep-Style LED Combination Trailer Tail Light Driver Side # STL60RLBP and Jeep-Style LED Combination Trailer Tail Light - Passenger Side # STL60RB. Going with the LED version will get you a...

  • Installation of Jeep-Style Trailer Lights
The Jeep-Style Combination LED Tail Light w/ Backup Light and License Plate Light - Driver Side # STL60RLBP and Passenger Side # STL60RB are not intended for use on a Jeep. They are simply the Jeep Style and are intended for trailer use. You will not be able to modify the lights without voiding a warranty. The studs are used for mounting only, so you technically can alter the mount without impacting function.

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver/Bumper Combination For a 2011 Freightliner M2 Cab and Chassis
Based on the information I could find on your 2011 Freightliner M2 cab and chassis it appears you have a 34" wide frame. The Buyers Products Flatbed/Flatbed Dump Hitch Plate Bumper # 3371809050 is specifically designed to fit a 34" wide frame. It has bolt hole which you can use to attach to your frame but welding is also required. You are able to bolt on either a 2" Receiver # 3371804055 or Pintle Hitch w/ 2-5/16" Ball # BP38FR. • How to Figure Out Wiring for Trailer Tail Lights with 5 Wires
The best thing to do when installing trailer lights is to make sure they have the same amount of functions as the ones that you're replacing, and then note what wires are for what functions. This makes it easier to wire up the new tail lights when you install them. The most amount of wires we have on a tail light is 4, with the Jeep Style Lights # STL60RLBP and # STL60RB. I'm not sure what that 5th wire is on your assembly so you'll need to reach out to the manufacturer for a wiring diagram...

Since I don't know what LED lights you purchased for your 1990 Jeep YJ but I'm pretty sure the 4th wire is for your reverse lights and that you have your ground connected to your reverse light function. For example, the Jeep-Style LED Combination Trailer Tail Light # STL60RLBP for driver side and # STL60RB for passenger side, have 4 wires which connect to the following functions: White wire for ground Black wire for tail light and license plate light Red wire for stop/turn signal Yellow...

To use the Jeep-Style LED Combination Trailer Tail Light # STL60RLBP and # STL60RB to work on your 2006 Chevrolet flatbed you will need to use a Hopkins Tail Light Converter # HM48847. This converter is needed to combine the turn signals and brake lights to work on the same circuit like the Jeep needs. It is also confirmed to work with the LED lights on tail lights.

The only thing is that since they mount to the surface you will need to have access to the back side of the mounting surface to thread on the nuts that hold the lights on. I have included a link to a video review of this light for you.
