Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this LED five function driver's side trailer tail light with the reflector. It has the red lens. Now this rectangular LED tail light will provide the stop, the turn, the tail, the backup, and even the license plate light for your driver's side application. Has the built in reflex reflector on it to remove the need for a separate reflector. Does use the potted LED circuitry to protect against moisture and road shock.

And it uses LEDs which make great replacements for incandescent lights. The LEDs will last 50 times longer, they're more efficient because they'll provide brighter light with less power output, and of course no bulbs to replace or brittle filaments to break.Now at the end of this video, I am going to hook this up to some power just to show you all those functions. This is all in a nice durable polycarbonate lens and housing. It uses red and a clear lens. Over 35 light LEDs.

And it is compatible with 12 volt DC systems. It has a surface mount design. If you look at the back here, it's surface mounts to the trailer with these included mounting studs. It's a three stub design, fits a variety of applications. Specs on this, the power draw at 12 volts for the stop and turn circuit is 0.16 amps.

For the tail light it's 0.14 amps. Give you some dimensions on this light. The overall width is going to be right at five and three quarter inches wide. Overall height, six and three quarter inches tall. And the depth of just the housing from the back is right at three and one sixteenths inches deep.So what I'm going to do now is we're going to go ahead and hook this up to some power.

I just want to show you all the functions that this light offers. Go ahead and turn the power off. Let me get it all hooked up first. There we go. Okay, now that we've got them all hooked up, I'll go ahead and turn the power back on. And with the power on there you can see the tail light function. I'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. There's your tail light. And if you notice the bright light at the bottom, that's for your license plate light, because this is going on the driver's side. And when you do hit your brakes, you can see there's your brake. The brake gets a lot brighter. And then when you hit your turn signals, you can see there's your turn signals. And the other one I wanted to show you was the backup light. So you notice the backup light when you go into reverse, have a very bright, clear lens with the bright LEDs on it. So lets everybody know that you're backing up.Imma go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights and turn off our power.
