Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this LED four function passenger side trailer tail light with the reflector and the red lens. Now, this is a rectangular LED tail light, provides stop, turn, tail, and the backup light for passenger side application. It does use a built-in reflex reflector, helps eliminate the need for a separate reflector and it does use the potted LED circuitry inside the light which will protect against moisture and road shock. The LEDs, they make great replacements for incandescent lights because they'll last about 50 times longer.

They're more efficient because they'll provide brighter light with less power output and of course no bulbs to replace or no brittle filaments to break. It's a nice durable polycarbonate lens and housing. Does have a nice red and clear lens over 29 white LEDs. Now at the end of this video, I am going to hook this up to some power just to show you how bright it is and how the functions operate.It is compatible with 12V DC systems. It is a surface mount design.

Mounts to the trailer with the included mounting studs in the back here. It's a three stud design so it does fit a variety of applications. A few specs on this. The power draw at 12V for the stop and turn circuit is 0.19 amps. For the tail light circuit is 0.08 amps.

Give you a few dimensions on this. Overall width 5-3/4". Overall height 6-3/4" tall and the depth of the housing from the front to the very back is right at 3-1/16". What I'm going to do now is we're going to go ahead and hook this up to some 12V power. Again, once we get it hooked up, can show you how bright the light is and then we'll show you the different functions.Okay, I think we got it all hooked up.

Go ahead and turn on our 12V power and there's your tail light function. Going to turn off the overhead lights. Then when you hit your brakes, you can see there's your brakes being applied, it's a lot brighter. Then when you hit your turn signal, you can see it's also brighter. The last thing I wanted to show you the backup light. When you go into reverse to back up, you can see the clear lens with the bright LEDs. Lets everybody know. Gives also a very bright light. I'm going to turn back on our overhead lights. Go ahead and turn off our power.
