This light uses a single white LED that puts out a bright, clear beam to keep your license plate visible at night. It draws only 0.054 amps at 12.8V, so it’s easy on your electrical system while still meeting DOT requirements. The LED lasts up to 50 times longer than standard bulbs, giving you crisp lighting without ever having to replace a filament or worry about dimming over time.
Rough roads and constant movement can shake traditional bulbs loose, but this one uses surface-mount technology (SMT) for the LED circuit board. That design helps it better handle shock and vibration while also improving heat distribution. The result is steady output and long-lasting reliability, even after miles of use.
The one-piece ABS plastic housing resists corrosion, and the clear polycarbonate lens keeps the light protected from dirt and debris. It’s tough enough for the long haul without yellowing or cracking. You get lasting clarity and durability in a simple, compact setup that stays looking clean.
Wiring doesn’t get much easier than this. The light uses a basic 2-wire pigtail—one power lead and one ground wire—so connecting it to a 12V DC system is straightforward. No special connectors or adapters required, just a clean install that works every time you turn on your running lights.
This light is made to mount directly onto the surface of your trailer using the included bracket. The overall size is 8-5/8" long x 2-5/8" tall x 2-1/2" deep with mounting holes spaced 3-1/4" apart center to center. Once it’s in place, the angled design aims light down perfectly across your plate so it’s always clearly visible after dark.

This is a perfect match to what came with my Montana. I like to keep things looking nice, I used it on my bike rack because it blocked the license plate. Looks great, only takes a few minutes to take off the trailer and put on the bike rack.
I’ll have to install when I’m back at my camper. It appears to be a good match.

I purchased this license plate bracket to replace the one originally on my trailer because it had been damaged. The new one from etrailers works great and I was able to reuse the existing hardware
