This round LED license plate light puts out a clean, bright white light using just 0.0306 amps at 12.8 volts. The two white LEDs give solid, even illumination that keeps your plate visible without drawing much power from your system. LEDs also last up to 50 times longer than incandescent bulbs, so you get dependable light without ever having to mess with replacements or fragile filaments.
If your setup sees wet roads or the boat ramp, this light is built to handle it. The housing and white polycarbonate lens are sonically sealed into one waterproof unit, so moisture can’t sneak in to damage the diodes or circuit board. It stays sealed and reliable even when submerged, giving you confidence in rough or wet conditions.
Measuring just 1-1/2" in diameter and 11/16" tall, this small light fits neatly where space is limited. Installation is quick—just snap it into a 1-1/4" hole for a clean, recessed mount. The included two-wire pigtail uses a black power lead and white ground wire, making wiring straightforward.
The chrome-plated brass housing shields the top half of the light while adding a polished finish that blends well with most setups. It’s built tough to resist corrosion and wear, keeping the light looking sharp and functioning reliably over time.
For setups that need adjustable brightness, this LED light can be hooked up to a dimmer switch and still operate smoothly down to around 5.4 volts. That flexibility makes it easy to dial in just the right amount of illumination when you want softer lighting without losing performance.

Used it to replace a night light in a travel trailer. Replacement was quick and easy and the LED light is a whiter and brighter light than the old one.
Pretty pricey but they put off a bright white light and look pretty trick on my ranch hand bumper with LED reverse lights.
It would be difficult , if not impossible, to have a more helpful person facilitating the placing of an order than Paula at etrailer. I swapped out all incandescent light fixtures on my trailer with led, and the buyiing/ selection process was made a pleasure with her help.

Lights was used to illuminate tags on a f-350 rear bumper,
Buyer beware that the 1 1/2 dia. Is outside dem. So depending on hole punched in bumper you mave to modify slightly to fit.
Proved to be a more than excellent replacement for my failed two wire license light of my older Bounder. Caution: the wire color codes were reverse from those used in the wiring of my coach license.
Needed a license plate light on my steel replacement bumper. The one that came with it was a single wire fixture that wouldn't ground and would not work or would blow fuses. Found this led 2 wire light and asked etrailer if it would be a better fit. They told me it would. Got the product installed and it works great, no blowing fuses and no unwanted attention as a possible ticket magnet. Thanks again for the help, taking a long trip soon and it's nice knowing everything is in working order.
They are extremely bright! I installed 2 for my tag lights and 1 would have been plenty. They are brighter than my reverse lights.
Love these lights got them shipped for about the same price as standard bulb and i don't have to worry about a ground since it has 2 wires will purchase more btw fits my s10 bumper perfect

Still bright and working great love them hate the 1 wire style ones the grounds get rusted and they stop working
The product is absolutely the best quality. No problems with it. It is very bright. Only down side was it took a long time for them to ship.

Very bright even during the day. I have not seen at night at time of this review. I had to tap into ground wire on my trailer. My other lights did not have a ground wire from the light. Took a bit longer to install than initially anticipated. However, they turned on and the light is very clean. I love etrailer. They do a fine job showing pictures and videos of every product that I have bought from them. Shipping is fast and packaged well.
I want to surprise my dad without him knowing to upgrade all of the old incandesant lights on his trailer to LED to keep him up with the times in lighting technology. He brought the trailer right after Hurricane Katrina in 2005 or 2006 don't remember the date. Been having for 10 years now and I've noticed that the lights were starting to not work normally. I surprised him without asking and used my own money to purchase all new LED lights and rewired the trailer. Everything working correctly when he saw it and said Wow Thankyou.
Purchased these for external compartment lights on my Airstream Motorhome. They all fit the existing holes, and are sealed LED units that are amazing. They replaced the 12 volt filament lights that had started shorting out at the socket. These worked so well that I replaced all the indoor aisle lights as well, of which I had already repaired the light sockets. FANTASTIC product.
Worked great. Snapped right in. Using for a entry step light on class A motor home.

Excellent products. These lights work perfectly, are rugged and seem to last. The license plate lights are super bright so law enforcement have no problem reading the plate which avoids unnecessary stops. The lights are directs replacements as well so no modifications needed. Great products. I recommend etrailer to many of my friends and colleagues.
The LED trailer license plate illuminating lights I ordered and installed last year Should last far longer than regular incandescent bulbs they replace.

I love the products but the quality of the packaging was horrendous. When I opens the box up there wasn’t enough packing paper in the box to keep the lights from shifting in the box. Most of the lights were out of the low quality unsealed plastic bags and were a scratched and marked up. Along with that there weren’t any bags for the smaller 3/4”lights and were loosely thrown in the bottom of the box with the grommets not being attached in any way. After I pulled the contents out of the box I realized that there weren’t even enough crappy plastic unsealed bags for all of the main 4”and 6” S/T/T/B lights and to finish it off all the electric grease that was in the plugs was not covered in any way leaving all the bags and contents of the box completely covered in di-electric grease. Overall after cleaning all the lights up the products are amazing except for it took a little research to find out that the 4” STTB lights aren’t supplied with pigtails. I’m disappointed of the quality control for your company for the price that you ask.

All fine after a year, thanks.
This product solved my need perfectly. All other license plate lights of this style that I've seen only have one wire and ground through the housing. This was not suitable in my case where my light snapped into a plastic housing around the license plate opening. This was the only lamp of this style I found that had a ground wire, which is exactly what I needed. I'm glad I found it and was able to plug the hole in my license plate housing where the original light had gone missing.

A year later and still working exactly as it should. I would gladly buy this product again.
The light works perfectly. It's bright enough to light up the license plate from a few inches from the side. The light is wired in place of the existing light and mounted in a new location. It has been in place for a year, many miles, rain, snow and lots of sun. The night time pic makes the light itself look super bright but that is the camera.
