The Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Tonneau Cover Adapters lets you haul kayaks, ladders, or rooftop tents without losing the use of your tonneau cover. The included adapters slide directly into the T-slots of compatible covers such as Retrax XR, Pace Edwards UltraGroove, or Ford Embark LS. You get the full benefit of a retractable tonneau cover and the overhead capacity of a heavy-duty rack all in one setup.
Built for work and adventure, this rack supports 300 lbs on-road and 180 lbs off-road. The rugged aluminum construction with a black powder coat is both durable and rustproof, tested to meet Yakima’s off-road standards for rough terrain, hard stops, and evasive maneuvers. You can count on it to handle ladders, lumber, bikes, or watercraft wherever the job or trail takes you.
The uprights adjust from 19" to 30" above your bed rails, making it easy to fine-tune for whatever you’re carrying. Keep the bars low for bikes or raise them up when you need clearance for kayaks or long boards. Etched measurements on the uprights and crossbars help you set everything evenly every time you adjust.
Both the uprights and the 78" crossbars have T-slot channels inside and out. You can mount eye bolts, cargo stops, paddle holders, off-road lights, or a rooftop tent directly to the channels. Rubber strips in the top channels cut down on wind noise and drag. Built-in tie-down points on the uprights and endcaps make it simple to secure gear of any size.
The QuickChange system slides the adapters into the tonneau’s rails and tightens in place with the included hardware—no drilling needed. BedGrip clamps secure to standard bed rails, and the entire rack can be removed in minutes when you need the bed clear. Same Key System (SKS) lock cores keep the uprights secured, and when the work’s done, the built-in bottle openers make for a solid finishing touch.

I've owned this truck for just over one year and had the kayak about the same amount of time. Due to the short bed, hauling the kayak in my bed was not an option. This meant I had to pull my trailer to the river/lake any time we wanted to take the kayaks out. I got this rack for my birthday and integrates perfectly with the Retrax bed cover. Just need the weather to get warmer now so we can take the kayaks out. the rack fits perfectly, it was a breeze to install. Everything lined up and installed exactly how it was illustrated. The etrailer team kept me informed on my shipment and it was delivered quickly. This is a great option supplied from a great company.
This new Yakima HD truck bed rack is fantastic for my new Retrax XR Tonneau cover. I've been looking for months to get this rack and no one had it in stock due to the pandemic. etrailer was the first one that I noticed to have it in stock and they quickly shipped it to me and it arrived in about 3 days. The instructions we very straight forward and I installed it in about 45 minutes due to the easy connection with the T bolts and the slots in the Retrax XR cover. It was basically a matter of connecting the bolts/nuts and adjusting/lining up the support posts. I will be using it to haul 2 - 12' kayaks when I have my bumper pull camper in tow. I'll also be using 4 Yakima Handroll Kayak Loaders on the rear to assist in getting them loaded on top of the high bed rack. I can't wait to try it out on one of my long haul camping trips.

It’s a very sturdy kit. Parts list is a little confusing with regards to which are the “A” and which are the “B” pillars but they can only go on one way. The tonneau cover adapters are universal. Also, there are two different types of T-slotted screws - use the larger ones if they fit your rails!
