Traditional bulbs can burn out quickly and pull more power than you’d like. This 3/4" round Uni-Lite uses two red LEDs that shine brighter while drawing only 0.03 amps at 12.8 volts. The clear polycarbonate lens lets those LEDs throw clean, visible light without the heat or fragility of incandescent bulbs. You get the brightness you need with far less power demand and no filaments to fail.
When space is limited, this light fits right in. At only 3/4" in diameter and 7/8" deep, it mounts flush using the included black PVC grommet. Just drill an 11/16" hole, push in the grommet, and snap the light into place for a snug fit that looks clean and stays put. The simple 2-wire pigtail makes wiring straightforward—one power lead, one ground—so installation takes just minutes.
If your trailer ever sees water, this light is built to handle it. The housing and lens are sealed to make one waterproof unit that’s completely submersible. The circuit board inside is protected from moisture, keeping the diodes safe from corrosion or failure even after repeated dunking. It’s ready for wet roads, boat ramps, or any job where water is part of the routine.
Visibility matters most when conditions aren’t ideal. This PC-rated light puts out a 180-degree beam pattern—90 degrees to either side of its centerline—so it can serve as both a clearance light and a side marker when mounted properly. That wide spread means it’s visible from the front and sides, keeping your trailer well lit so others can see you coming and going.
The lens and housing are made from tough polycarbonate that resists damage from impact or exposure. It’s a small light that holds up under big use, whether on the road or at the ramp. With LEDs rated to last up to 50 times longer than incandescent bulbs and backed by a lifetime warranty on the diodes, you can count on it to stay bright for years without needing replacements.

Today we'll be reviewing part number MCL11CRKB. This is the mini LED side marker and clearance light. It's going to be a red light with a clear lens. This is from Optronics. This is going to serve two functions, again working as a side market and clearance light. It is PC rated, so it's going to produce a 90 degree angle of light, left and right, when mounted at a 45 degree angle.
It's got the long lasting, super bright LED's. They're going to be a great replacement for incandescent lights. The multi-diode design is going to optimize light output. You don't have to worry about replacing any bulbs and they're going to be a lot more efficient providing brighter light with less power. The lens is a crystal clear lens, impact resistant, polycarbonate material. It is going to be sealed so it's going to be waterproof.
So when it comes to the housing and the lens you have a sealed, waterproof design. It's also going to feature a two-wire design. You're going to have your black wire which is going to be the power lead. Then you're going to have the white wire which is going to be your ground wire. You can see that you have the ends exposed, but it is protected with a nice insulated covering. This is Department of Transportation compliant.
It also meets FMVSS108 requirements in any 360 degree position. It's going to be a round light. The dimensions are going to measure 3/4 of an inch in diameter. If we separate it from the grommet it's going to measure 15/16 of an inch in depth. So you can see there that, that grommet easily comes out that way you can and attach the grommet to the trailer or whatever application you're going to use to mount this to.
And then stick the light through and all you have to do is push it down in position for a nice snug, secure fit. It's going to have two diodes. The power draw is going to be 0.047 amps at 12 volts. The installation does require 11/16 of an inch hole at the desired mount location. The grommet is made from a PVC construction. We're going to go and hook it up to our external power source. We're going to connect our ground wire and then we'll connect our power wire. We'll go and turn off our overhead lights. Turn on our power source. You can see there that we have a nice bright red LED light. It's got the two LED bulbs in there you can see glowing. The clear lens allows for a lot of light to shine through and those LED's are very bright. That's going to do it for today's review of part number MCL11CRKB. This is the mini LED side marker and clearance light from Optronics. .

These are well built marker lights. That are small but supply a huge amount of light. I have been running them on my boat trailer for 3 yrs with no failure. Or any moisture problems in a submersible application. I recently installed them on the Jeep. ONLY MARKER I WILL RUN.
I used this light to drain power from a 200 amp-hour battery so that I could connect 3 together, had to draw to 1/10 a amp to connect all three together, took a long time, very little draw from the Led lamp.
The lights themselves are fine. I've drilled the instructed hole size, (11/16"), and they won't go in. There's a fine line to keep from going too large with the hole. Also the lights were not marked as to color. I had to test them and mark them. I'm rebuilding a trailer and am using these on the outer front and rear fenders as marker lights. It will be a while before they are installed.
I recently came into a 12' popup trailer, and upon bringing it home I realized that the rear light plastic had decayed to the point where it was falling apart.

I installed these on my boat trailer to replace the existing lights that came on the trailer. These lights provide a much cleaner install into the crossbars and are much brighter. Install was very simple as well.

Great item at a great price. Purchased 4 clear with red (2-diodes) to place in my rear step bumper in place of back up sensors for my older truck used as clearance/running lamps.
Fitment was up to me being had to locate rubber grommets to adapt to these smaller 3/4" lights to the 1 1/8" bumper holes.
I would give these 5 stars but for some reason the black wire is the HOT, while any automotive electrical item I be ever worked on the BLACK was the ground! Opposite here and recommend testing them before you hook up like I did then had to reverse wires..
Silly mistake on my part but why is the black (+) and white (-) ???
Otherwise they're bright and add to my otherwise dark OEM tail lights for increased safety. Pic shown is during daylight!

Great lights that I used for the center brake lights on my Jeep. Fit was perfect and installation was easy. These lights are super bright. No complaints.

Small but bright, still working great. Blend in well with the trailer in the daylight but stand out very bright at night
Item was similar to my OEM lights which made for any easy replacement.
These are really nice marker lights. Nice and bright.
These are excellent lights. Very small and compact with a very bright output. I used these as marker lights on the rear of my pickup, and it made a huge difference in visibility. Being only 3/4", you can install these in a variety of locations and for a multitude of applications. I highly recommend these and will be purchasing more for additional lighting needs.
