Hidden Cross Tube for a Clean, Factory Look

The EcoHitch Hidden trailer hitch is designed to be as inconspicuous as possible. The hitch's cross tube bolts onto your vehicle's frame, behind your rear bumper. No drilling or welding is required. Once the hitch is installed, only the receiver will be visible beneath your bumper. This means that your vehicle can maintain its stylish, from-the-factory look, and you won't have to do any major modifications to its body or frame.

Eco-Friendly Material

With a combination of aerospace-grade aluminum, steel, and stainless steel, each EcoHitch is made of a strong metal alloy that will withstand the test of time. The lightweight alloy is composed of recycled materials. Traditional steel hitch manufacturing can use coal or oil, which can contribute to harmful gas emissions. The EcoHitch's recycled materials limit the carbon footprint during manufacturing, so you get a sturdy trailer hitch while also helping the environment.

Rigorous Strength Testing Ensures Durability

This EcoHitch trailer hitch is tested for durability and sturdiness. Using Finite Elemental Analysis (FEA), individual points of stress on the hitch can be detected and remedied. Designers can accurately test the hitch to ensure that it will meet or exceed SAE J684 standards. The EcoHitch Hidden trailer hitch is carefully researched and strength tested for a durable, high-quality hitch that can resist damage while on the road.

Nothing exciting about a trailer hitch and harness, however they are of very good quality and have served me well for the past year, I was most pleased with the lady who took my order, the order was filled very quickly and sent directly to a local service shop who in turn called me and set up a time for installation. Great service from all

  • Does Rear Bumper Beam of 2020 Subaru Outback Get Replaced with EcoHitch
It's actually pretty common for hitches on newer vehicle to replace the rear bumper beam as it allows the hitch to become more hidden. The hitch's crosstube basically becomes the bumper beam so you wouldn't be without the support it normally provides. The setup on your 2020 Subaru Outback will be totally safe.

We currently do not have an installation video on the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver part # EH34FR but as soon as we have the opportunity we will have it available. It is a very hidden look that uses the rear fascia to hide the main portion of the hitch.

It is very possible that a trailer hitch receiver for a 1966 Chevrolet C/K 10 short bed will work on your 1966 Chevrolet P10 Panel Truck but you will want to measure the width of your frame to confirm this. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13028 is confirmed to fit a 1966 C/K 10 with the short or long bed, and fits frames that are 34" wide measured outside to outside. As long as this matches your frame width this would be a great option for you. I included a link to the written instructions...

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13410 is a great option for a 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon. It has a 4,000 lb gross trailer weight and 600 lb tongue weight rating. The trailer hitch is tested separately of the vehicle so this does not mean you can abide by these capacities, the lower of the two (vehicle/hitch) will be what you need to abide by. It could very well provide more capacity than the factory hitch but you still may not be able to utilize the full capacity due to the vehicle...

  • 7-Way Trailer Connector Mounting Bracket for 2021 Subaru Outback
The EcoHitch # EH34FR doesn't provide an integral bracket for installing a 7-way trailer connector. We offer bracket mounts that usually work pretty well, which will use a pipe clamp to attach to the hitch crossbar, but because the crossbar will be buried behind the bumper cover once the installation is complete, that wouldn't be a good option in this case. The Curt # C58000 Easy Mount bracket would be your best bet.

My favorite and most often recommended hitch choice for the 2020 Subaru Outback is the Curt Class III receiver hitch, part # C67JR.
