Question:
Is this hitch made in the USA? Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 Item # DT94MR

Expert Reply:
While we do have a great U.S.A.-made solution for your 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon, the Draw-Tite # DT94YR is manufactured overseas.
With that being said, if you are looking for the next-highest weight capacity hitch we carry for your vehicle that was manufactured in the U.S.A., I recommend the EcoHitch - 2" # EH34FR. With the EcoHitch, you receive the advantage of a concealed crosstube and looks more like a factory accessory than the # DT94MR. If you wish to have a more economical U.S.A.-made option, that is the etrailer Hitch - 2" # e25TR. While this hitch also comes with a hidden design, it does not have as much capacity as the # DT94MR or the # EH34FR.
If you happen to need a wiring harness for your Outback, I suggest the T-One Harness - 4-Way # 118467. This harness comes with a higher-quality converter box than the competitor Hopkins harness.
I went ahead and attached some helpful videos for you to check out.
