Packaging is great - not much over 30 lbs gets to my house without without looking like it went through a war but this had zero damage.
Hitch fits perfectly even on the 2021 EV - install took under two hours done on jack stands by myself. Would be under an hour with a helper.
You will have to trim the Bumper splash shield and center molding but that is only a couple of small slots - the youtube videos show large cutouts which simply aren't needed with this hitch.
And, yes, I didn't clean up the trims where I cut with an oscillating tool like I should have. Two minutes with a fine file would have them looking factory but I didn't even wash the car for the pictures either.
Easy Install! All holes lined up properly with the frame. This particular hitch is much stronger than my last one which had the smaller 1 1/2" receiver. Feels safer with 2", pulls my 5x8 trailer just fine, as well as bike rack with 2 bikes. Overall 2 thumbs on this Receiver, thanks!! 2020 Hyundai Kona AWD
My car came with a 1.25" hitch but the e-bikes needed a 2" for the rack. I couldn't have done the installation myself, but a neighbor had the skills. Had to remove the bumper as well as loosen the muffler, but it all worked and it's solidly in place.
Good product. I was able to get it in place without dropping the exhaust.
Quick and easy to install
It was exactly what i thought it would be and was a pretty easy install. Feeding the bolts thru the sq tube frame was a little bit of a challenge but theoretically worked well. One problem with frame holes having a spot weld plate inside that didn't match exactly. Has to use die grinder to increase hole dia.
I’m a novice at car repair/upgrades. Ran into some trouble and ruined the bolt leader wires that are involved with install. The team at etrailer was easy to reach and responsive. They guided me threw the process and sent me new guide wires at no cost. After following their advice installation was easy.
The hitch was fairly easy to install. It works well on my 2020 Hyundai Kona.
Shipping was faster than promised, and they matched the price from another online retailer. I couldn't be more pleased with etrailer and the purchase.
