For the vehicle I have put this hitch on a 2020 ecosport and the things and used it for. The installation was super easy and the quality is excellent. We mostly use the hitch for a cargo rack and it works awsome!!
This is a basic light duty hitch that was installed on a 2020 Ford EcoSport. What i did notice: The welds were even and consistent, The paint was applied evenly but i wish a little heavier. Bolt holes lined up and the 1-1/4" tube seems to be square with the hitch and the car. I do not expect any issues now or in the future.
Took a long time for etrailers to get the hitch in stock. Not their fault.Once in stock the hitch was shipped ASAP.
Install: I can not comment. I had my local general purpose auto mechanic install the hitch.

Bought this for my 2019 Ecosport to tow a couple kayaks. Installation was a breeze! Took about 1 hour just for the hitch. The video is spot on aside from my muffler location being different but that was covered on the printed instruction and didn’t add any difficulty.

The hitch works flawlessly. It was an easy install and it does the job well. No issues at all.
The video on how to install made it so easy, it took like 30 minutes only because of the weight and doing it myself. Once 2 bolts were on and holding it up, everything went very easy.
I ordered a trailer hitch for a 2019 echo sport was super easy to install it was deleted on time and David L emailed me to let me know it has been delivered I would recommend ettrailer 100 percent of I ever need another trailer hitch it will be from etrailer thank you etrailer and David L.
Installation was as easy as making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. took about 35 minutes. I dont have a fancy shop just laying on the ground and simple home owner tools.
Works well. Easy to install using the videos as a guide.
Bought this for my bike rack. Super simple to install. E trailer supplies all the installation videos. Carry two bikes with it 3 times a week. Never had a problem and the bikes are very secure in their “old person rack” which is you only have to barely lift the bikes to get them in the rack.

Still solid. Ive checked the bolts a couple of times and nothing has moved. We occasionally dive 20-30 miles at interstate speeds and never a problem.
I got this for my wife's new Ford EcoSport and the installation took about 20 minutes and I did not need to drill or cut anything, just bolt it on. I have had it for a year now with no issues and I love that it is hidden and the hitch does not stick out.

I Have had the hitch for 2 years now and still going strong and no additional play in the receiver. I hope is it will outlast the car!
Very easy to attach to my 2018 Ford EcoSport. Was able to do it by myself and it only took about 45 minutes to complete. I'm glad that I was able to find this on etrailer, because Ford didn't know when they would have one in stock for my vehicle. I would highly recommend this site for anyone looking for hitches. They were a savior in my case, I was traveling to FL from MD and needed the extra room for hauling things. Thanks again.
We bought the trailer hitch in order to attach a wheelchair lift behind the car and it has worked fine without difficulty for the past year. My husband managed to install it easily.
I read all the reviews and instructions before buying and installing the trailer hitch and found to be quite simple. I am certainly no professional and installed it in my garage while laying on the floor. Took me 2 hours to un-bolt everything attach the trailer and put the bottom guard back on. Well worth the time and effort. Love it.
I have a 2019 Ford Ecosport S. I already installed a roof rack and basket to hold a “baby spare” and box with compact tire and jack since they do not come with one from the factory anymore. We wanted a hitch so that we could use the ecosport to pull our lightweight 5x8 trailer when needed and to also allow us to add hitch accessories like a basket to add to our ability to carry things for family trips when needed. Since I have the lowest cost model they sold for 2019 it was a very easy install process. All I needed to do was disconnect both rubber exhaust hangers to get ready for the install...Then (learning from past hitch installs) while the car was backed up onto ramps I used a large floor jack and a couple of ratchet tie downs to secure the hitch to the jack and lift it into position...Although it takes a little longer it allowed me to do it by myself. Once it was lifted into position all I had to do was put in the 3 bolts on each side, tighten them up and torque, and then reinstall both rubber exhaust hangers. As a final step I always do just to be safe I went to a local shop and had then weld the hitch into place so that there would never be a chance of it coming off...It is overkill but if $20 extra prevents me from having an accident it is worth it. Good basic lightweight hitch for the cost..Fully recommend this product if you have an ecosport and need a hitch. Took me a couple of hours but I was in no hurry and took a few breaks because I am not as young as I used to be when it comes to climbing under vehicles.
This hitch is just what I wanted. The fit is perfect and the instructions were simple and clear. I installed the hitch in about an hour and I am very pleased with it. I bought another hitch for a second car and it was just as good and easy to install on the second vehicle!

Quality, thats the best word I can use. I most definitely will be going back to etrailer.
Hitch kit was delivered on time and complete.
Installation took a little longer, tight installing in driveway.
Raise rear of truck on ramps helped.
Directions were very good, need to complete each step.
Hitch looks like factory installed.
