Question:

2018 ford EcoSport titanium - All we want to do is tow our bikes what type of hitch would you recommend knowing that because of the way the back door opens I just can’t by a bike rack cause it will damage the vehicle.

It sounds like you are looking for the best trailer hitch and a compatible bike rack for your 2018 Ford EcoSport.

For a trailer hitch I strongly recommend the Draw-Tite # 36660 because it will not require drilling into the frame of your '18 EcoSport to install, unlike the other hitch option for your car. This is a Class II hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver that fits all models of EcoSport, including your Titanium.

The bike rack I highly recommend that will work with the hitch on your '18 EcoSport is the Saris Freedom # SA4412B because at less than 30 lbs it is extremely lightweight but still has a 60 lb per bike capacity.

The Freedom will be extremely stable due to its included anti-rattle hitch lock and the ratcheting padded cradles that grip your bikes by the frame. These cradles work in conjunction with the ratcheting wheel straps that are on both wheel trays to ensure that you won't have to look out your rearview mirror and see your bikes bouncing around.
