Are There Issues With Installing Aftermarket Trailer Hitches Versus The OEM On A 2023 Honda Passport

I have a 2023 Honda Passport EXL- and am wanting to install a trailer hitch. I have read in some forums that people have said if you dont go with an OEM then you will have issues with adjusting it for your trailer, etc. Do you have any knowledge about this? Or what special issues cold come up using one from e trailer vs a Honda OEM part? Any guidance you can give would be helpful. Thanks!
