Perfect for light-duty towing, this Curt Class I trailer hitch receiver gives you a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" opening rated for up to 2,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 200 lbs tongue weight. That’s plenty for a small utility trailer, lightweight camper, or boat. It’s built strong with precision, robotic welding that maximizes strength and ensures a solid fit.
The 1-1/4" receiver size is just right for compact accessories like bike racks and cargo platforms. When you’re loading up bikes or gear, Class I compatibility keeps things simple and secure. For non-trailer loads, use the recommended stabilizing strap to minimize sway and make sure your setup stays steady on the road.
This hitch is designed for easy DIY installation using existing mounting points—no welding required. It comes complete with a hardware kit and installation instructions so you can bolt it on in your own driveway using basic tools. The fit is custom-tailored, so alignment lines up cleanly without guesswork or modifications.
The fully welded steel construction is protected by a gloss black powder coat finish layered over a base coat for superior rust resistance. That means the hitch stays looking good and resists corrosion from rain, salt, and debris over time. It’s a durable upgrade that adds function without changing your vehicle’s clean look under the bumper.

Thanks for adding the pics. So other than right angle drill, it was pretty easy? Four holes, and mount. Did you need to remove bumper or touch exhaust? Thanks for your reply.
