The K-Source Custom Side Towing Mirrors w/ Lane Change Alert-Cam - Electric/Heat # KSVS55010 stick out 18-1/2" when retracted, but then that's increased to 22-1/2" when they are extended (see attached). What is the year/make/model of the vehicle you plan on installing these on? I see you have a 2024 Chevy Silverado 5500 put into our fitguide system and these mirrors won't fit that vehicle - just want to make sure you're getting something that works!

  If the mirrors you have on your 2012 Silverado do not currently have turn signals, or heat functions, towing mirrors with those features will not be enabled. The wiring is not completed for those functions on the vehicle. If you do not have those functions but want custom towing mirrors on your truck I recommend part # KS80900. These mirrors snap on to the lip of the vehicle mirrors. They will not work with mirrors that have a chrome cap and will not work with telescoping mirrors.
