Question:
Will this fit my 2009 Yukon Denali? Will I loose the power folding capability? What will happen with the blind spot detection capability already installed in the existing mirror? What is the purpose of the additional wiring and black rectangular box shown in the video?

I spoke with my contact at K Source about towing mirrors # KSVS55010 and your 2009 GMC Yukon Denali. He stated that if you tried to use these mirrors you would end up with error messages since your Yukon already has the blind spot detection feature. You would also lose the power folding option. The additional wiring and black control box are needed for models that do not already have the blind spot detection features.
We do have K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors - Snap On - Driver and Passenger Side # KS80900 that are confirmed to fit Denali models. With these you won't lose the power fold feature of your existing mirrors.
