If you prefer a clean look when you’re not towing, this base plate kit is built for it. The tabless setup means no crossbar or protruding brackets hanging out front, so the base plate blends in with the bumper. The removable arms stay on your tow bar instead of the vehicle, keeping everything neat. Snap-in polyethylene covers seal off the receivers to keep out dirt and debris so the tabs slide in easily every time.
Connecting your tow bar is quick and straightforward. Each arm slides into the receiver, twists to lock, and secures with a pull pin for a solid connection. To unhook, pull the pin, twist the arm, and it’s free—no wrestling required. The bracket spacing is 36-1/2" center to center with a 19" bracket height, so you can plan your setup precisely.

This kit bolts directly to the chassis with a simple bolt-on process—no welding needed. The steel build is sturdy and dependable, spreading towing forces evenly to help minimize stress on your suspension. It’s designed for dependable performance mile after mile on long-distance trips.
Already have a tow bar you like? This base plate works directly with all Demco, etrailer, Blue Ox, and Curt tow bars with no adapter needed. If you’re using Roadmaster tow bars, just add the correct adapter (DM9523036, DM9523062, DM9523014, or DM9523023—all sold separately). An included electrical bracket makes it easy to mount your round connector plug right where you need it.
If you handle your own projects, this kit is ready for a weekend install. The design uses existing mounting points for a straightforward bolt-on fit that doesn’t require special tools or welding. Clear instructions and all necessary hardware come in the box so you can get it mounted up cleanly and confidently.

The Demco base plate for our 2025 Jeep Gladiator is still the best choice out there. It required no drilling or cutting and is easily swapped out as we lease our Jeep and need to put it on the next Jeep every year. Also very easy to hook up and very robust construction.

Hey Richard, great feedback on the heavy duty mount I can send that along to Demco. Sounds like you have been to some awesome places between all those miles. Is there a place you would consider a must go to that you have traveled to?

1.5 years later, 15k miles later, zero issues with baseplate, still estatic about the maverick as a toad
