I took a look at the owners manual for the 2020 Subaru Crosstrek and it is not flat towable behind the motor home. The Crosstrek would need to be towed on a flat bed trailer so I recommend the 2020 Jeep Cherokee as long as it is 4 wheel drive with the 2-speed power transfer unit. If its not then the owner's manual says flat towing is not allowed.

To flat tow the Jeep, you will need a base plate, tow bar, safety cables, tow bar wiring, supplemental braking system and possibly a high low adapter. I have added a list of parts recommendations to flat tow the Jeep Cherokee.

Finally you may need a high low adapter to tow the vehicle level with the motor home. In order to know how much rise or drop it will require to tow level some measuring is required.
