This setup is made to handle the stresses of long-distance towing. The sturdy, dependable design spreads towing force evenly across the chassis to minimize weight on the suspension. Constructed of durable steel, it bolts securely in place with no welding required. The reinforcement is hidden, so you get a tough setup that doesn’t stick out or distract from the front end.
If you prefer a simple, uncluttered appearance up front, this base plate keeps things neat. There’s no external crossbar or large bracket hanging out—only the base plate tabs are visible. The low-profile look stays close to factory style while still giving you solid connection points for your tow bar.
You can get this installed at home with basic tools. Everything bolts directly to your vehicle’s chassis, and all hardware and instructions are included. No welding is needed, and an electrical bracket is built in so you can mount a round connector plug without extra fabrication.
Already running a tow bar you like? This base plate connects with all Demco tow bars out of the box and is adaptable for use with other brands when paired with the right adapter (sold separately). Demco offers several adapter options so you can keep your current gear instead of starting over.
For reference when matching components or planning your hitch height, the distance between brackets is 34-5/8" and bracket height is 22-1/2". That makes it easier to line up your tow bar or plan for a high/low adjustment if needed later on.
