Today we're going to take a look at the adapter for the Roadmaster Sterling tow bars to the Demco classic base plates. Now these adapters inaudible allow you connect your Roadmaster Sterling tow bar to Demco classic base plates. It is works with Sterling tow bars with serial numbers above 14,501. Now if you do need adapters for Sterling tow bars with serial numbers below that, and including 14,500, we do sell separately on our website a part number DM9523036. This one is for any of the serial numbers above 14,501.Includes everything here on the table, the brackets, all the hardware is included, they are made in the U.S.A.
and you can see it has nice instruction . or instructions that will show you how to install it. Basically you have your pin and clip here. Just remove your clip, remove your pin, this will attach to your Sterling tow bar, this will go into the Demco base plates. Line up the hole, slide it through the base plate holes, put your clip back in, and put it right into place and you're all ready to go, simple as that.But that should do it for the review on the adapter for Roadmaster Sterling tow bars to Demco classic base plates..

I do like the product and it works for my Jeep. The installation wasn't the same as the videos on your site though. Of course my year is different but all the same components. Video shows them lifting it easily into place where mine needed to be hammered because of the tight fit. Chipped off some powder coating which is fine. I can paint that up no problem. The rock guard panel that gets removed on one video and doesn't on the other was the only difference for me. My Jeep you cannot remove that panel because the baseplate mounts in front of the bolts that hold on that support panel. To make things more difficult the rock guard support panel is directly in the way of installing the clip-nut for the lower mount of the baseplate. Again videos on the site don't show that happening. I had to take a large tool to bend the rock guard panel away enough to fish that clip-nut up to install. Then bend it back. Other than that it installed as advertised. Here is a pic of the conflict between the rock guard panel and the baseplate install.

It was great but I had to sand down the powder coated finish so it would fit into the baseplate.
