This rim uses a 4 on 4" bolt pattern, 2.84" pilot diameter, zero offset, and 1/2"-20 wheel bolts for a snug fit on standard hubs. This 12-inch-diameter, 4-inch-wide wheel pairs easily with popular small trailer tire sizes like 5.30?× 12. The combination gives you dependable load handling without adding bulk or weight—just solid performance in a compact, easy-to-handle package.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Today we're going to review Part Number AM20140. This is the Americana 12" x 4" Steel Mini Mod Trailer Wheel with the four-on-four bolt pattern and a white in color. This wheel is made of a sturdy steel construction. It has very excellent corrosion resistance, uses a white powder coat finish over e-coat primer. This is the mini mod design, and by that we mean the round holes that go around the outer edge for the design as opposed to the spoke design. You'll see a lot of trailer wheels that are the triangular openings.
That's the spoke design, this being the round holes is the mini mod design. This high quality wheel will meet the Department of Transportation specifications. Now a few dimensions on this. The diameter of the wheel is 12" and the width is going to be 4". Those measurements I'm going to show you actually are not the edge-to-edge measurements. It's going to be where the tire bead seats.
In other words, when you mount a tire onto this wheel, the beads will seat right in here, so when you do the measurements, you'll be measuring bead seat to bead seat, so for diameter we'll measure inside to inside, which is where the tire bead seats. So you're looking at 12" in diameter, and then for the width again, we won't go edge-to edge. You'll go bead seat to bead seat. So it's going to be 4", so 12" in diameter, 4" in width. The bolt pattern is a 4-lug, 4" bolt pattern, and the way you would measure that is basically on a wheel that has an even number of lugs, like this one has 4. You just pick one of the holes, go from the center of the one hole, center to the hole directly across from it.
So if we put a ruler on that center to center, right at 4", so this is a 4-lug, 4" bolt pattern. Now this does use a wheel lug size of a half inch by 20. The pilot hole diameter, which is this large hole in the center that goes over the hub on your trailer, on this wheel the pilot hole hub diameter is going to be right at 2.84", and then the weight capacity on this wheel is 1,045 pounds at 90 PSI. That should do it for the review on Part Number AM20140, the Americana 12" x 4" Steel Mini Mod Trailer Wheel, four-on-four bolt pattern in white in color. .

The wheels are excellent and must be majorly strong since they survived being beaten up in transit.
Please inform your pick-and-pack warehouse that placing two steel wheels in a box at 3'x3'x 20", or at least 3x their size and then tossing in two sheets of barely crumpled brown paper is NOT acceptable packing.
My UPS driver, "Tell these people that I did not enjoy being forced to listen to those wheels thrashing about all day in the back of my truck."
