For those running higher inflation pressures, you can pair this wheel with Americana High Pressure Rubber Snap-In Valve Stem # AM20904. The valve stem fits the wheel’s 0.453" hole and is rated for up to 80 psi, so you can confidently run setups that demand more air support without stressing the components.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Today we're going to review part number Am20027. This is the Americana 8-inchx7-inch steel trailer wheel with the 5 on 4-1/2-inch bolt pattern, and it is silver in color. This wheel is made of a sturdy steel construction. Has a very nice silver painted finish over the whole wheel. Helps resist corrosion. This high-quality wheel will meet the department of transportation specifications.
A few specs on this, the rim dimension is a 8-inch diameter by 7-inch wide. If you go to measure that, based simply on a wheel, it's measuring where the tire would seat on the wheel. The bead seat to bead seat would be the diameter measurement, and the width would also be bead seat to bead seat. Basically, on this one, this is an 8-inch diameter. Again, we won't go edge to edge.
We'll do bead seat to bead seat. You can see, 8 inches diameter. Then when you go to the width, same way. We won't go edge to edge. It's measured bead seat to bead seat, where the tire is. Again, 7 inches width.
8-inch diameter, 7-inch width. The bolt pattern on this is a 5 lug 4-1/2-inch bolt pattern. It does fit on a wheel stud size of a half-inch by 20. The pilot hole diameter, which is this large hole right in there, that goes over the hub on your trailer, on this wheel is going to measure right at 2.8 inches diameter for the pilot hole. The weight capacity on this wheel is 1040 pounds.

Very nice looking and well made rims. Far shipping grin etrailer. One negative is mfg. placed sticker in bread area and it's prone to shredding when trying to remove. Sticker needs to be thicker so it pulls clean.
Ordered 4 hole rims, but later discovered trailer has 5 hole rims. Already installed stem, and mounted tires. Don't think I'm able to return them, I ordered correct rims.

Product (a trailer wheel, no tire) arrived quickly and is what I needed. I ordered by phone and my only comment is that it did not come with a full valve. Would be good to know. The rim was very inexpensive at $[XX] but having to order a valve added 50% to the cost.
