The pilot diameter is 2.5" and the wheel bolt size is 1/2"-20, giving you clear dimensions for an easy match-up to your hub and tire setup.
If you’re running compact trailer tires like 165/65-8 or 16x6.50-8, this wheel fits right in. Those tire sizes seat perfectly on its 8" x 5-3/8" rim width for proper support and sidewall shape. That means better stability under load and consistent performance mile after mile without uneven wear or wobble.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Today we're gonna take a look at this Americana eight inch by five and three eighths inch white solid center trailer wheel with the four on four inch bolt pattern. Now this wheel is a sturdy steel construction. Now these eight inch trailer wheels are commonly found on smaller trailers like snowmobile trailers, jet ski trailers, small boat trailers, and even small campers. We mentioned it's a solid center design, has a white powder-coat finish over an E-coat primer or resist rusted corrosion. And it is a high quality wheel.
It does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation, specifications. Now a few measurements I'm gonna go over, we're gonna measure the diameter of the wheel and the width on the wheel. And just to show you how to do that, when you measure the diameter, you're always gonna measure inside to inside because when a tire's mounted on here, the tire's mounted on the bead seats and you're gonna measure from bead seat to bead seat to get the correct diameter. So you can see if we go inside to inside, there's your eight inch diameter. The width is gonna be the same way, bead seat to bead seat, or inside to inside.
And that's right at five and three eighths inches for the width. Now the bolt pattern on this wheel you can see is a four lug and it is a four on four inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that on a wheel that's an even number of lugs, like in this case, four, all you have to do is pick one of the holes, let's say this one, and measure straight across to the hole right across from it. So center to center on this will measure four inches. So it's a four on four inch bolt pattern.
Pilot hole, which is the center here, is two and a half inches. Does use a wheel lug size of a half inch by 20, and the weight capacity, which will be stamped on the wheel, is 1,100 pounds. But that should do it for a look at this Americana eight inch by five and three-eights inch white solid center steel trailer wheel with the four on four inch bolt pattern.

Perfect fit, best price on the net. My Ariens Zoom 32 is a pain in the trunk to find parts for however these wheels fit the 18x6.50 -8 tires perfectly and the 3" offset is the same as the oem wheels.

Only issue that kept it from getting an “Excellent” rating was the fact that it didn’t come with valve stems already in place. However, the item description does state that this rim does not come with a valve stem. I would have preferred not to have to make a separate purchase. Still, overall a good deal.

Great product and fast service! Bought these rims for a go kart that I'm building.
I ordered 2 trailer wheels, 2 wheel hub sets, 2 spindles and spare grease seals for future hub bearing maintenance. These items were shipped within 5 days. All parts were securely packaged in several layers of extra heavy duty boxes, then placed in a larger extra heavy duty box with handle cut outs. All the boxes were fastened together with heavy duty staples and all seams were sealed. Price, shipping and parts are excellent. Could not of had a better experience anywhere else. I will order all my future trailer parts from e-trailer.

Wheels are excellent, well made and DOT approved. Their size is clearly stamped into each wheel and the finish is a gloss white that looks to be heavy/thick and should last for years on trailers, lawn carts and lawn equipment. I'll be using some of these for those applications as well as GoKarts and Minibikes.
Everything was packed well and arrived in perfect condition. Each wheel was isolated from the others and well protected from shipping damage.
I cut the center out to make it for my obscure lug pattern. What was left was exactly what I needed. Seems to be good quality. Time will tell but I’m sure it’ll be fine. Good product with a good price.

Quick and reasonable shipping. Quality wheels at a value price, and I was in the tire industry for 42 years. Not all of your products are going to end up on a trailer, we have 8 of your wheels on 2 of our go kart buggies. My grandson liked the finish on these wheels so much we left them white and did a black and white paint job. Just waiting for nicer weather to go ride.
This wheel is very well made and at a great price. This was actually for an old piece of farm equipment, so I cut the hub out and welded in the one from a bent wheel. The metal in the new wheel is definitely high quality.
