Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Rhino-Rack Conduit Pipe Endcaps. These are a lockable endcap that will fit over top your PVC conduit pipe. It will help to keep all the contents of your conduit pipe secure and protect them from dirt and debris and those sorts of things from getting into your pipe. These are a nice plastic design, so you don't have to worry about rust or corrosion or anything like that. These will fit your schedule 40 PVC pipes.
They've got an internal diameter, right at four and a half inches. They will fit on the outside of the pipe. The pipe will fit inside there so you don't have to worry about these blocking up any of your clearance of your pipe. It should do a good job for you there. It is going to be very simple to get these installed. It comes with nuts and bolts to bolt the cap onto your pipe, so you will have to drill a hole through your pipe.
They do recommend using some PVC primer and cement to make sure that there's a nice snug fit there. Again, to help prevent water, dirt and debris, those sort of things. When you have this unlocked, just use one of the keys there. You will just give it a little twist that will allow it to open up.These lids are nice. Even if you we're at an angle, they'll stay open.
And then when you're ready to close it up, give it another twist. Close it, turn the key. It's nice and locked. So, you won't have to worry about anyone getting in, messing with your fishing poles or construction supplies, anything that you have in that conduit pipe.Overall, I think these are going to be a great option for those of you who want a little bit more security on your conduit pipe. These do come with a five year limited warranty.
So, if you we're to have any problems with them, you could give us a call. We'd be happy to help you out with that. We always want to make sure that our customers are having a good experience and getting quality products, but I really don't think you're going to have any issues with this. I think this is going to be really easy to get installed and just add an element of security to your conduit pipe, so you don't have to worry about your lumber or fishing poles sliding out or someone coming along and taking them from you. These are going to be a great addition to those conduit pipes for your vehicle. That's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
