When your old suspension mounts start to sag or rust, the trailer’s stability takes a hit. This kit brings it back with solid 3-1/4" tall front hangers and 1-1/4" tall rear hangers made from 3/16" thick steel. They give your double-eye springs a secure mounting point and restore proper geometry so your trailer tracks straight and rides smoothly.
Getting the spacing right between hangers is key for good suspension travel. This kit is designed for single axles rated from 2,000 lbs up to 7,000 lbs and achieves about 5" to 5-1/2" clearance between the frame and axle depending on axle size. The included table helps you mock it up before welding so you can verify placement before final install.
Everything needed to hang your springs is in one place — (2) front hangers, (2) rear hangers, (4) 3-1/8" long shackle straps, (6) 3"x9/16" bolts, and (6) 9/16" locknuts. The parts are sized so the shackle straps line up with 1-3/4" wide double-eye springs for a snug, free-moving fit. Just weld the hangers to the frame and bolt everything together.
With the fixed hanger up front and the shorter rear hanger using shackle straps, the springs can flex naturally as the axle moves. This lets the suspension absorb bumps instead of transferring harsh jolts into the frame. The result is steadier tracking and less bouncing whether the trailer’s loaded light or heavy.

Have not installed it yet so I can't review the product. I can tell you that etrailer's customer service is top notch. I called about a shipping delay after I placed my order. They assured me it would only be a day and not a week like my order confirmation said. Called back the next day and my order was already shipped. Good people to do business with.

The fit and finish were very good. Unfortunately, for me I had to order additional hanger brackets for the springs that were suggested for me as the kit only came with two compatible brackets. It has delayed my project for a few days until I get the new brackets.
It has been over a year since I had rebuilt my trailers using parts purchased at etrailer.
This is the first time that I have been able to put any real miles on the unit and with 800+ miles the lights and everything performed flawlessly. I will not think twice of making additional purchases from etrailer.

The shipment arrived sooner than expected, the hanger kit was also included in the shipment with leaf springs I bought which arrived in a heavy duty box with very good packaging. As for the hanger kit it is heavy duty thicker gauge compared to the one currently on my utility trailer and will also raise my box. With beefing up my suspension I'll be able to carry a heavier load with my current axle.
They have performed flawlessly I would buy them again probably never need them in my lifetime though
I bought springs, mounts and Tailight kit to fix up a rusty utility trailer. I cut, weld scraped and painted for the better part of a month in spare time. The springs and mounting instructions on e trailer are excellent. Only issue/shortcoming are the tail lights. Wire just pushes in and spring loaded strip holds them. I soldered and sealed the connection with silicone. So far that salt covered roads haven't hurt it in winter. The folks at etrailer are very helpful and prices are a good value.
Haven't installed it yet, but the components appear to be good quality. A little surprised that there are no actual spring bushings?? Maybe that's normal for trailer springs? Looks like a thin wrap of Teflon? or something. Anyway fast shipping and good packaging.

The hanger kit does not include bushings because the trailer spring normally comes with bushings. If you are concerned about where the shackle strap bolts to the shorter hanger, I recommend it is well lubricated with grease such as L11380.

The hangers look good and I believe they will do a great job. I need to move my axle back on my trailer so it will be able to haul some weight. It is a dump style body and can't handle weight, only on the front of the trailer. So I am going to move the axle back about 6 to 8 inches. The tracking info on the kit was great... ALL gratitude goes to your company...

I have received significant support from e-trailer over the past 10 days as I have made several purchases for a new axle, springs, and hangars for my utility trailer. William and others have went out of their way to assist. I have been very satisfied with all products received. I will post another review when the trailer is completed.
Sturdy and durable, but I'll recommend to protect them with some galvazining compound if you're planning to use it in a boat trailer that touches saltwater.

Product arrived just as described and very quickly. This kit was a great way to drop the springs on our trailer enough for the axle to be put on correctly.
Good kit with the necessary parts to replace leaf spring suspension. I welded the hangers rather than bolting them. The parts are not coated for the price point so you will need to paint them or they will rust immediately.
all parts were as expected and arrived quickly, made a hard job easier by things arriving on time.
I inherited an aluminum trailer that ended up needing a complete overhaul and etrailer was the best resource I could have found. After researching extensively to find out what I needed and watching their videos on how to do it I ended up ordering an EZ-lube axle, galvanized hubs, springs and a hanger kit (in other words everything from the frame down).
