  Hey Shane, so the axles we offer like the part # e43SR are designed to be underslung. That means the spring perch is on top of the axle tube. If trailer axles were totally straight this wouldn't be a problem as you could just flip the axle over but they are designed with a bow in them that faces down so if you were to flip the axle the alignment would be way off.   In order to change the spring center on the Trailer Axle with Idler Hubs # e65GR you will need to cut off the existing spring seats. Once they have been removed, you will need to have # TRSS238 welded on to match your 72" measurement. If you have some kind of adjustable bracket I do not recommend using it. There should be no way for the leaf springs to move horizontally along the axle aside from moving the spring seat.
