Question:
I need to replace 1 axel on a tandem trailer. I am getting a 76 inch measurement for my spring centers …. my axel face measurement is 95 inch . This is a 4 inch 3500# axel . do these measurments make sense ?

That does make sense. We don't have an exact replacement for your application but if you check out the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with 4" Drop E-Z Lube Spindles # 7685269 you can see that it has 95" hub-face and 80" spring-center measurements. Since the hub-face and spring-center measurements can vary from trailer to trailer and yours are fairly close to one that we carry (we only carry a few of the very popular options) I wouldn't say that's abnormal.
Even though the spring-center of this trailer axle doesn't match up with what you have, you can still use it and have a professional welder cut off the old spring seats and weld on new ones with part # TRSS238. Just be sure they are experienced with trailer axles as they need to be oriented exactly so the trailer rides correctly.
Aside from that you'll have to reach out to a place that can place an order for a custom trailer axle to get exactly what you're needing.
