Question:
I am looking for a replacement boat axle - 89 hub face, 70 center mount, 5/4 lug pattern, 3500lb capacity. Can only find 89 hub face/ 74 mount axles on your site - do you carry anything other than what is listed? Thanks in advance!

Hey Larry! All of our standard 3,500 lb axles with an 89" hub face measurement have a 74" spring center measurement like the # 35545I-EZ-89 you were looking at. The only solution is to cut off the spring seats and weld on new ones # TRSS238 to match your existing measurement. If that isn't something you want to do, I would check with Dexter to see if they can sell you an exact match.
What boat are you hauling?

Hey, appreciate the reply! I have access to a welding shop who could relocate the mounts. I’m hauling a 20’ bowrider - Mercruiser 5.7 i/o - boat fits fine on the trailer but want a heavier axle as the existing one has a negative bow - inside tread of the tires wearing heavily. Not sure if the axle bow is a result of time/fatigue but would prefer a heavier axle if possible.
