Leaf springs can make a trailer bounce and rattle when the road gets rough or the load is uneven. The Timbren Silent Ride Suspension replaces those metal springs with double Aeon progressive-rate rubber springs that soak up road shock and keep the trailer steady. These rubber springs compress and stiffen as the load increases, staying active at all times to reduce bottoming out and return smoothly to shape. The result is a quiet, stable ride whether you’re empty or fully loaded.
Uneven terrain can throw a trailer off balance. The Silent Ride system uses walking beams with a single pivot point to distribute weight evenly between both 2-3/8" round axles. The pivoting arms let each side of the suspension move independently so the tires keep their grip on the ground. This equalizing movement keeps the trailer level and steady over dips, driveways, and bumps, minimizing sway and bounce.
Rated for 7,000 lbs, this system is made for serious hauling. Each of the two suspension units is built from heavy-duty steel with a rust-resistant powder coat finish. The rubber components are fitted with durable bushings and covered by a 10-year warranty, while the rest of the system carries a 5-year limited warranty. It’s a strong, long-lasting setup that holds up through miles of towing and changing conditions.

The Silent Ride is virtually maintenance-free. There are no grease fittings to service, and the sealed rubber springs handle the shock absorption without regular attention. It can be bolted or welded on with a 2" x 4" hollow steel crossmember (3/16" wall thickness, not included) and Grade-5, 5/8" bolts for secure mounting. Once installed, it stays quiet and reliable without the upkeep that traditional suspension systems need.
Salt, snow, and grime are hard on metal parts, but this suspension is built to handle it. The steel frame is powder-coated for corrosion resistance, and all hardware is zinc-plated to stand up to harsh environments. That means smooth performance and solid protection mile after mile in all kinds of weather.

I'm glad these improved the ride for you Cody, and the install looks good too! What are you usually hauling?

So far all is great! The highways around here are in horrible condition. My trailer has the straight high brush fenders so you can see the tires and axles in the side mirror as you drive. Those tires are jumping like crazy on the rough pavement, but the trailer body is so smooth the cows think theyre riding in a Cadillac!

After a year and approximately 8k mi on the suspension, the Timbren Silent Ride seems strong. The silent aspect of this suspension is no longer silent after things have broken in but not nearly as squeaky as the leaf setup. My stock 2-38” axle beams are slightly bent up at the ends so I’m in the process of upgrading those to 3”. I would also like the next step up in springelastomer but can’t justify the price north of $500 for the 4 rubber springs. When loaded I only have about 1-34” up travel currently before axle bottoms out on frame. My only complaint or recommendation would be for future designs to enable more suspension articulation and up travel capabilities.
