You're on the highway when a strong crosswind hits and your trailer starts to sway. It's the kind of trouble that's flipped plenty of rigs. These rubber springs absorb that shove, keeping the trailer steady and your truck in control.
When you're towing, small shifts in weight can make your trailer move more than you expect. You feel it through the steering, and the ride starts to feel unsettled. The Timbren SES suspension kit adds progressive Aeon rubber springs above your trailer's axles to absorb that movement and carry part of the load. When weight shifts or bumps cause your trailer to move, these springs dampen the motion altogether, so it doesn't transfer to the tow vehicle. That means your trailer isn't controlling your truck anymore. The suspension is absorbing that movement, and you don't have to correct your steering as often.
Storage totes slide around and dishes rattle when your trailer starts to bounce on rough roads. These rubber springs adjust as weight changes to cut that extra motion down. When your trailer is light, they stay flexible. As the load increases and the springs compress, they stiffen to keep your trailer level and limit how much it leans or shifts on uneven ground. The rubber becomes a cushion between your frame and leaf springs, taking the shock out of bumps and potholes.
These brackets mount above the axle and hold the rubber springs in place. Once everything's in place and torqued down, there's nothing to adjust or keep up with. Each bracket is laser cut, formed to fit, and powder coated to keep salt and rain from rusting the steel.
If you've ever worked with older suspension kits that required drilling or awkward alignment, you know how quickly a simple install could drag out. This one skips all that. The brackets bolt together and clamp the spring in position above the axle. You only need basic hand tools, and once the bolts are torqued, the job's done. Most people finish in about thirty minutes and tow the same day.
Even though you're increasing the spring rate by adding this upgrade, this does not increase the trailer's GTW (Gross Trailer Weight). Please make sure that the load does not exceed the GTW set by the manufacturer.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Timbren RV Trailer Suspension Enhancement System for spring over axle configurations. So this is designed for RV trailers with an overslung suspension leaf spring pack width under 3 1/4 inches, and an axle diameter from 2 3/8 inches to 3 inches. So if your trailer meets those specifications, this is going to work just fine for you. These rubber springs step into absorb, for instance, the shove of a crosswinds keeping your trailer steady and your truck firmly in control.
And here's how they do it. First of all, they're going to improve ride stability. These Progressive Aeon rubber springs soak up bumps and vibrations, helping your trailer stay balanced and reducing the unnerving movement that you feel on rough or uneven roads. These are also going to give you consistent load-support. So unlike some setups that only engage when the suspension bottoms out, these springs are going to stay in contact at all times.
So they're gonna give you constant support and control no matter the load. These have a weight capacity of 7,000 pounds, and these are also going to give you controlled handling. So crosswinds, potholes and uneven pavement can all push your trailer around, but these springs are gonna limit sway and that side-to-side motion, giving you a smoother, safer towing experience. And once you get these installed, what's nice is there's gonna be really zero maintenance with this kit. Once they're on, you're done.
No adjustments, no lubrication, just reliable performance trip after trip. Now I do have these kind of loosely put together. As you can see here, I've got the hardware loosely assembled here for the brackets. And then you're either going to use the longer bolts or the shorter bolts to install the springs onto the brackets. It all depends on how many spacers that you need.
So you don't necessarily need to use all of the spacers, or any of the spacers with this kit. But depending on how many spacers you need, you're gonna have the bolt lengths that are going to be appropriate for whatever's going to work best for you. So that's, that's a nice addition here. So they're gonna bolt directly to your leaf springs using the standard tools that you have in your garage or in your toolbox. You're not gonna have to worry about any drilling, you're not gonna have to worry about any complicated setups. And these are built to last. These feature corrosion-resistant powder coated steel and high-density rubber. So this kit is made for years of heavy towing. The overall height is going to be 7 1/2 inches for this kit. Instructions are also included to guide you through the installation process. Now while this upgrade does increase your spring rate for that better control, this will not raise your trailer's gross trailer weight. Just be aware of that. So you always wanna stay within your manufacturer's recommended weight limits. Now if you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this kit or anything else that we carry here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out to us, 'cause we do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
