How Many MORryde X-Factor Crossmembers For 2018 Vengeance Triple Axle Toy Hauler

Updated 03/18/2026 | Published 03/07/2026

Question:

I have a 2018 Vengeance triple axle toy hauler. How many of these cross members do I need and where do I install them on a triple axle set up?

Hey Wayne! The MORryde X-Factor Crossmember # MR33WR installs between your hangers. For the most stability, you will need a total of four since you have four sets of hangers. These are designed to work with the MORryde CRE, SRE, or stock suspension system.

Where are you headed once you get the crossmembers installed on your toy hauler?

Agree with the previous comment, you will need 4 of the cross members. Beware of any obstacles for the installation. We had a black tank drain line in the way of one of our cross members. So that required a set of their adapter brackets to lower the cross member.

@Tim thanks for bringing that up. You're right, the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember Adapter Kit # MR43WR may be required depending on the configuration of the trailer.

@Tim Thanks for the heads up Tim. I will take a look at the sewer pipe etc... before I order.

Yes I put the Cross Members in along with other modifications, extremely happy with them and my other modifications. Made my fifth wheel much more rugged and reliable. I traveled all over the country and needed to reinforce everything I could to put the odds in my favor to withstand the ever changing road conditions. Make sure you buy all three cross members. Also I added Sumo Helper Springs and added Road Master Shock Absorbers. Also I Boxed the spring hangers and made triangle brackets for above each contact position on the frame and floor Joyces just above the spring hangars. I also have the Moreride heavy duty shackles and wet bolt system and Moreride equalizers. Yes on the surface it may seem over the top, but believe me it’s well worth the extra money and time.

@Tom that sounds like a great setup! Just about everything I would ever recommend adding. Definitely a great investment and a good way to prevent those bad days when something breaks out on the road.

I added these to my Cougar 5th wheel because I became aware of a few incidents where the hangers snapped off the frame. I looked at mine and noticed one hanger was slightly bent. Not only did the cross members solve the problem but made a noticeable improvement in towing the trailer. Highly recommended. On my tandem axle it took 3 cross members.

The crossmembers worked well stiffened up the suspension big time . I think theses are a must for the big heavier units, they put less stress on mounting brackets for the suspension for the trailer.

I installed the crossmembers on two of the three hangers on my Brinkley Z3100 fifth wheel. They made a tremendous improvement. It is most noticeable when you are making minor corrections. The sway that I used to experience is almost completely gone.
