Which MORryde X-Factor Crossmember Fits 2023 Keystone Montana 3901RK Legacy? I know some of the suspension is different from the base 3901RK. Thanks

Hi Mark, thanks for reaching out. For the 2023 Keystone Montana 3901RK Legacy, the correct fit is the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember for Standard Frame Hangers # MR33WR. Even with the Legacy suspension, the hanger layout is the same, so you can use the same X-Factor on all three hanger locations.

The one thing I’d recommend before installing is taking a quick look underneath to make sure there aren’t any brake lines, plumbing, or wiring that would interfere with the crossmember. If something is in the way, MORryde does offer the X-Factor Adapter Kit for Drop-Down Applications # MR43WR, which lets the crossmember run below those obstructions.

From what I can see on the Montana 3901RK Legacy, the drop-down kit usually isn’t needed, but it’s worth a quick check to be safe. As long as everything’s clear, the standard X-Factor will bolt right in and give you the added stiffness and stability you’re after. it is recommended to do a total of 3 crossmembers for the best results.

I installed the MORyde X-Factor Crossmember on my 257RSS Bullet as part of a suspension upgrade. They were easy to install ans helped with trailer sway. As an unexpected side benefit one of the frame hangers failed at the weld on one side and the X-Factor Crossmember help hold my suspension in place preventing damage to our trailer and allowing for an easier emergency repair.

@FloydG Thanks for sharing that, Floyd. That’s a great example of why the X-Factor is more than just a sway upgrade. Glad to hear it helped stabilize things when the hanger failed and prevented bigger damage, that’s exactly the kind of backup you hope you never need but are thankful for when you do. Really appreciate you passing that along.
