Dexter Trailer Suspension Parts - DX56CR

Lift kit raises your trailer frame by 2-7/8". Kit includes spacers and mounting hardware for single axle applications. Compatible with side-mounted #11 Torflex axles with 4,100-6,000-lb capacities.

Features:

Lift kit raises your trailer frame to provide 2-7/8" additional clearance between trailer frame and axle
Designed for use on trailers with a single, #11 Torflex axle with 4,100-6,000-lb capacities
Spacers attach to side-mount brackets on your trailer's frame
- Not compatible with top-mounted torsion axles
Includes:
- 2 Frame spacers (003-400-02)
- 12 Washers (005-111-00)
- (8) 5/8"-18 Hex lock nuts (006-126-00)
- (8) 5/8"-18 Screw hex cap bolts (007-177-00)
  - Bolt length: 1-1/2"

Specs:

Spacer dimensions: 11" long x 2-3/4" wide x 2-1/2" tall
Bottom lip to center of side mounting hole: 1-1/4" tall
Distance between mounting bolt holes: 9-1/2"

Note: Lift kit cannot be used with 3" tall brackets.

Availability of Lift Kit for Escape 17B Travel Trailer
Hi Michael; the Escape 17B uses a Dexter Torflex axle but you will have to identify which one. This can be found on the axle tag. Once you have identified the axle you can choose from the following: -Torflex Lift Kit # K71-723-01 (#9 Torflex with 7-3/4" bolt hole spacing) -Torflex Lift Kit # K71-707-01 (#10 Torflex with 8" bolt hole spacing) -Torflex Lift Kit # DX56CR (#11 Torflex with 9-1/2" bolt hole spacing) If I had to guess it is a #10 Torflex but the only way to know for sure...

Looking For Lift Kit For A 2006 Single Axle Trailer With Dexter Torsion Axle
Hello Jim, thanks for reaching out. We do offer lift kits that can be used with the Dexter Torsion axles. Do you happen to know the weight capacity of the axle? The S/N seems to indicate a 3,500 lb axle but please do confirm. Will The Torflex Lift Kit DX56CR Fit A 2015 Airstream Fling Cloud Bambi?
Hello Scott. The Torflex Lift Kit # DX56CR is the correct kit for a 5,000 lb torsion axle. So as long as the axles on your 2015 Airstream Fling Cloud Bambi square torsion axles, and not round tube leaf spring axles, the # DX56CR kit will work great.

Recommended Lift Kit For A 2015 Aliner Expedition Pop-Up Camper
Hey Ken, A 2015 Aliner Expedition should have a 3,500lb axle, which should have a 2-3/8" diameter axle tube. If this is true then you can use the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00 to raise the trailer height. This is going to raise the trailer by the height of the spring stack and axle tube diameter so the trailer is going to sit roughly 3" taller. I've attached a short video below where I'll walk you through the installation process.

Will The Dexter Torflex Lift Kit # DX56CR Fit A Lippert Axle
Hey Mark. The Torflex Lift Kit # DX56CR is specifically for Dexter #11 Torflex axles and would not be compatible with your Lippert Axle. I'm pretty sure at this point Lippert dropped all of their lift kits for torsion axles but if you can send me the RPO # listed on it I can see if there might still be something available.

Recommended Single Axle Lift Kit for a # 11 Torflex Axle
I would be happy to! I saw you were looking at the Torflex Lift Kit item # K71-724-02. This is for a # 11 Torflex axle. The single axle version would be item # DX56CR. It also fits a # 11 Torflex axle. It's a little shorter than 3" at 2-7/8" but it is the closest option we have.

Hey David, thanks for reaching out. The Torflex Lift Kit # DX56CR will work with the #11 Torflex axles with capacities between 4,100 lbs and 6,000 lbs, and with 9-1/2" between bolt holes. I am not sure exactly which axle is on your airstream since there is no way to look this up. If you can confirm the specs I mentioned above, you can be sure this lift kit will work for you. Lift Kit Recommendation for Single Axle Airstream Trailer that Weighs 5,000 lb
Hey Thomas, most likely the correct lift kit you need for your single axle Airstream is the part # DX56CR as this fits Dexter Torflex axles that have a 4,100 to 6,000 lb capacity like your trailer should have. I would recommend making sure your trailer does have a Dexter branded Torflex torsion axle on your trailer though to be sure but from previous customers this does appear to be what you'd have.
