Question:

I’m looking for a lift kit for my triple 6000 torsion axle trailer. I’d like the shortest lift kit available. I’ve only seen tandem kits on your site. What do you have available?

Hey Dan! Are your torsion axles Dexter Torflex? The right kit depends on the Torflex number, and you will need an additional kit since it is a triple axle. Based on the capacity, you either have a #11 or #12 Torflex. If you aren't sure which you have you can find it listed on the axle tag.

If they are #11 Torflex you need # K71-724-02 along with the single axle kit # DX56CR. If they are #12 Torflex you need # K71-725-02 and it will require two kits. There really is no choice on the lift size, they only make one for each axle model.

Mine are Dexter Torflex #12 Do I need to buy (2) tandem axle kits or is there a single for the 7K axles?

@DanF as far as I know they only have the tandem kits for the #12. If you look at the link for the installation instructions they don't list one either. I tried searching using their part number and changing it to 01 for the single axle as well, looks like those are Chinese knockoff versions which I definitely wouldn't trust for this. Might be worth reaching out to Dexter to see if they can send you the parts for a single axle to avoid paying extra.

@DanF too bad. I figured that was the case since they list it that way, but worth a shot to check. Thanks for the update! If I were you, I would get two of the # K71-725-02 and then list the extra set for sale to recover some of the cost. I'm sure there is someone out there with a single axle or triple axle that would be willing to buy it.
