With the 2 receivers that you get with the SuperHitch Hero, you can tow a trailer and carry a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. And if you have a truck bed camper, this hitch has pre-drilled mounting points for TorkLift's super-sturdy camper tie-towns (sold separately). You can also add one of TorkLift's SuperTruss hitch extensions (sold separately) to extend the top receiver so that it clears your camper, allowing you to tow your trailer while your camper's installed.

Truck Bed Camper Compatibility

TorkLift is known for their truck camper tie-down systems and other camper accessories, so it just makes sense that they would have camper enthusiasts in mind when designing a trailer hitch. Each SuperHitch is built with integrated mounting points for TorkLift camper tie-downs, making it easier than ever to get a quality tie-down system for your slide-in camper.

TorkLift SuperTruss in SuperHitch

The dual-receiver design of the SuperHitch also makes it easy to tow with your truck bed camper in place. The SuperTruss line of hitch extenders is specially designed to extend the hitch receiver back far enough to clear your bed-mounted camper. Each SuperTruss extension forms such a solid connection with the hitch that the setup is able to maintain a relatively high towing capacity. The SuperTruss can also be used with standard weight distribution systems. As a result, you can clear almost any truck bed camper and still effectively tow a trailer.

Dual Receivers for Maximum Versatility

With the SuperHitch from TorkLift, you can tow your trailer and use a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. This is thanks to the dual-receiver design of the SuperHitch.

Most trailer hitches have a single receiver. Typically, you can find an adapter or extension piece that will slide into your hitch to give you 2 receivers, but these adapters dramatically reduce both your towing capacity and your tongue weight, limiting how much you can tow, as well as how much you can carry with a bike rack or cargo carrier. This SuperHitch, which mounts beneath your factory hitch receiver to provide the dual receivers, is specially constructed to maintain a high weight capacity so that you can use the 2 receivers without sacrificing towing or carrying ability.

2013 Ford F-150

I can't say enough good things about this product. There is no rust. Nothing is loose or needed tightening. The welds, especially at the reinforced hitch pin, are very robust. Even the weight labels are still shiny. I don't baby it. It's muddy out at the barn. It rains here a lot. I pull a heavy tongue toy hauler (the reason I bought it) and a horse trailer with it. My toy hauler exceeded the tongue weight of my original receiver, but this one has no problem with it. Everything looks like the day I put it on the truck. I really liked that I didn't have to remove my stock receiver to increase its capacity. I highly recommend this receiver, especially to anybody considering pulling a toy hauler with an F150 and wanting to stay within the ratings of their truck.

2013 Ford F-150

Tongue deadweight for the factory hitch, '13 F150, SCREW, 5.5 bed, was 500 lbs and the actual tongue weight of my aluminum toy hauler was 650 lbs. Not a good match. The Torklift Super Hitch, deadweight (tongue) rated at 800 lbs was the practical answer and opened up additional towing options. The installation, 2-man, was about an hour included reading the installation instructions (not included with hitch). An immediate observation I had was the need for supplemental links at the hitch to ease safety chain attachment is no longer necessary.

Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Good product and glad I purchased. This is the only class V hitch for an F-150 as I needed one that would hold my travel trailer tongue weight of 1500 pounds. It does and haven't had a problem with it. I'd give it 5 stars and while it's not Torklift's issue, etrailer doesn't offer military discounts. I've spent thousands of dollars on their products and after multiple requests, still refused to do so. Disappointing for a company in my home state of Missouri. Torklift makes fine products and this is no exception.

  • Availability of Hitch for 2013 Ford F-150 With Factory Installed Tow Hitch
There are two ways to add a hitch to your 2013 Ford F-150 that already has a factory hitch installed. The first is to add the TorkLift # TLF1005H. This is only designed for short bed models and trucks with a factory hitch rated for 10,500 lbs. It also installs along with the factory hitch instead of replacing it. The second option is to use the Draw-Tite Max-Frame # 75691 you were looking at. However, you can't simply install it by removing the existing factory hitch. You will need to...

  • Replacing the Factory Hitch on a 2011 Ford F-150
We might have a solution for you, but I cannot confirm if the reinforcement bracket for your 2011 Ford F-150 is capable of supporting the bumper and an aftermarket hitch. The OEM hitch on your F-150 is welded to the brackets that support the bumper. Removing the hitch and brackets and replacing that with the reinforcement beam doesn't guarantee an aftermarket hitch can be used. However, if you are worried about your factory hitch's towing capability, we do have a hitch that can be installed...

That's the bad news, but there are options. • You can go to a salvage yard and find a 2009-2014 F-150 that wasn't equipped with the factory hitch, and get the bumper and bumper brackets off of it and use those to replace what's existing on...

No, but if it adds to the safety of yourself, your passengers and other drivers, then there really is no reason not to. In regards to your specific equipment trailer, you mentioned that...
