Features to know about

Long Miles Wear Out Stock Hardware: 1/2" Thick Steel Shackles Keep It Solid

Factory shackles can stretch or wallow out after enough rough miles. This kit replaces them with heavy-duty 1/2" thick steel shackle straps that are twice as strong as most stock parts. The thicker steel keeps the suspension tight and steady, so your equalizers and springs don’t shift around and your trailer rides smoother for longer.

Rough Roads Cause Squeaks and Play: Bronze Bushings Stop the Slop

Plastic bushings wear fast and leave the suspension loose. The included bronze bushings are built to last and fit snug in the spring eyes and equalizer bolt holes. They resist wear and hold grease better, keeping things quiet and smooth even after long trips on rough pavement or gravel.

Hard to Keep Lubed Joints: Wet Bolts with Grease Fittings Make Maintenance Simple

A dry suspension wears fast, but keeping it greased doesn’t have to be a hassle. Each wet bolt has a built-in grease fitting so you can lube the joint without disassembly. The 9/16" diameter bolts—measuring 3-3/8" and 2-7/8" long—feed grease right into the bronze bushings, reducing friction and extending the life of every moving part.

Built for Correct Track Systems: 3-1/8" Shackle Straps Fit Right

If you’re running a Correct Track alignment or lift kit, this setup matches it. The shackle straps measure 3-1/8" from hole center to hole center with 9/16" bolt holes, giving the right geometry for triple-axle suspensions. Everything—12 shackles, 22 bronze bushings, 22 locknuts, and all 22 wet bolts—fits together cleanly so you can upgrade the whole system in one go.

Tough Enough for Heavy Use: Complete Hardware Kit for Long-Term Reliability

This isn’t a patch—it’s a full hardware upgrade for your suspension. The combination of thick steel shackles, greasable bolts, and bronze bushings means fewer replacements, fewer squeaks, and more confidence mile after mile. It’s a straightforward install that restores strength, tightens up the suspension, and keeps it working smoothly for seasons to come.

This kit is a beast! Very well made and it has everything you need to replace all of the hardware on your triple axle trailer. It is well worth the money.

My 2019 Coachman Freedom Express Liberty 320BHDS was chewing the inside treads of tires regardless of rotations. Thanks to Kyle B and Daylon H, your team quickly diagnosed the issue and recommended this suspension upgrade including new 6000lb leaf springs, u-bolts, equalizer and the MORyde wetbolt hardware kit. Installation took the better part of a weekend, but was a complete success. Be mindful of the torque specs and ensuring your RV is properly supported (including axles). Thanks to some recently cut stumps, I was able to support boths sides of the axles to safely torque bolts to 80lbs. RV rides about 1.5 inches higher, but nice and smooth. No noticeable camber with the tires now. Time will tell, but sincere thanks to Kyle and Daylon for taking their time to view my photos and answer questions.

Thanks for the awesome detailed review, Kevin! Really glad Kyle and Daylon were able to help track down the issue and get you pointed toward the right setup. It sounds like you put a lot of care into the install, and it definitely paid off. Making use of those stumps was pretty genius too. Safe travels ahead!

Everything was as listed and packing was done really well. I did have leftover bushings as the MORryde pieces have the bushings already pressed in. Seems like there was a waste of parts as you cannot use these bushings to replace the ones installed in the MORryde kit.

Thanks for the review! Glad everything arrived in good shape and that the packaging held up well.

There's really no comparison as to how much better this shackle kit is. The original plastic bushings were totally disintegrated. Took the 5th wheel for a test drive after installing these and now with the wet bolts installed the suspension is 90% quieter when negotiating my serpentine driveway!

That's awesome to "hear", Tom. I know the clanking of trailer suspension can get loud so if it helped reduce it by that much, I call that a major win!

Bought this kit when I was replacing a broken leaf spring on my tiple axle toy hauler. It's an exact match to the OEM suspension.

Thanks for the great review, Don! Happy to hear the kit was an exact match for your OEM setup and got your toy hauler back in action. We appreciate you sharing your experience, and the photo too!

The installation went well. It took me about one hour and twenty minutes to install the MORryde CRE3000 and the shackle kit on one side because I was cautious, making sure I installed it correctly. The other side went much faster, completing it in about 30 minutes. I am looking forward to seeing how the camper responds to rough roads.

Great product even after 1 year. I grease the wet bolts a couple times a year with ease!

Glad these are still holding up well John and thanks for the photo! What trailer do you have these on?

by:
Our RV tows and rides so much better since installing this suspension!
There is no longer any porpoising while towing and I have no worries of ever wearing out the shackles.
by:
I always wanted to replace the stock shackles with this MORyde kit. Fit as expected and am looking for a long life out of the new shackles.

@Brian That's some distance! Was this over time for several trips or did you go on one long trip?
by:
Installation was pretty straight forward. My travel trailer pulls better and feels smoother going down the road.
by:
Removed the old hardware and plastic bushing were found worn and junky. New hardware went in fine and felt great. All torqued up and ready for the road! Peace of mind is worth it!
by:
This is the second travel trailer / 5th wheel that I have upgraded with the MORryde wet bolts and shackles. The installation is pretty straight forward, the second side always takes me quite a bit less time to complete than the first side. I spent over 4 hours on the 1st side and about 1.5 hours on the second. I also installed a new MORryde equalizer at the same time. The original equipment nylon bushings were almost worn completely through on every bolt. I had 2 shackled that bolt hole had become an oval instead of round, and one shackle that was cracked. I have not had a chance to take my 5th wheel out since completing the job,but the creaks and squeaks that were present when raising and lowering the front landing gear are gone. I expect that it will ride and tow much smoother, just as my travel trailer did when I made the same upgrades. Great products, much better quality than factory installed parts.
by:
Excellent upgrade! Items shipped fast, were packaged well, and install was a breeze. All the stock nylon bushings were trashed.
by:
Real stout, should last a long time, great upgrade, should help long travels better, I added a lippert suspension at same time. Takes quite a few different tools. But not a super hard job ,if you have a few of the right tools and mechanical know how to.
by:
This was a great upgrade to the OEM suspension components on y travel trailer. The trailer is only 18-months-old, but as you can see in the video, the original suspension was completely shot after about 20,000 miles.
The kit replaces the OEM nylon bushings with bronze, and more important, contains wet bolts with zerk fittings. The shackles are much more heavy-duty than the originals. The kit was easy to install in an afternoon.

@GwendolynY We're on the road 3 months out of the year, and we're always on the move. Those bushings have about 23,000 miles on them.
by:
These shackle straps will keep you from being broke down on the side of the road. If you tow significant mileage toss the factory straps before you wear through them.
by:
Bought these to replace existing shackle straps on my travel trailer that had warn dangerously low. These shackles were twice as thick as what was on the trailer at delivery. Very easy to install (save some time and make sure the ground is level) and don’t forget to grease!
by:
I replaced my shackles on my tripple axle trailer with heavy-duty ones from e trailer, while I was at it I replaced all the equalizers and added wet bolts and brass bushings. I had never done work on a trailer Suspension before but with the help on e trailer I got it done. I no longer have my shackles flipping over and my boat trailer pulls like a dream. E trailer is great to work with and very helpful. I will definitely use them again when the time comes
by:
They are better than original. They have bronze bushings instead of oem plastic and they are greaseable. The most important part to me is that I was able to call etrailer and tell them about my need for these with the Road Armor and they were able to tell me which set to get. This modification allows me to pull the trailer safely and without issue down the road.

This was my first tandem axle unit. As I was pulling it home, it had such a twitch and shake that I pulled over to check it out. All bolts, etc. looked to be fine. I came across a review of the Road Armor and replaced my existing suspension. I have had zero issues and the trailer pulls smoothly. I highly recommend them.

@John Besides the original twitch and shake, I am glad to hear everything is working smoothly now! Did you end up replacing the original equalizer with a Road Armor? They do make a difference when they are new so I am glad its working out well for you. What trailer did you replace all this on?
by:
This is a great set and exactly what I was looking for, only thing I found out when I opened the package is it for one side of the trailer only. I’d would be nice to see that listed. Do you offer a complete set for the entire trailer?

The kit is intended to replace the bolts, shackles and bushings on both sides of a tandem axle trailer. It should have included the following: 8 Shackle straps 8 Wet bolts (for attaching the springs to your equalizers) 6 Wet bolts (for suspending your equalizers and springs from the hangers) 14 Bronze bushings (for spring eyes and equalizer bolt holes) 14 Locknuts If anything is missing, let me know and I'll get it straightened out for you.

by:
Great kit, included everything I needed. It also includes the fixed spring bolt for the outsides.Seemed well made and arrived fast. Really like how heavy duty the shackles are. I installed the grease zert side to the inside due to having removable fenders and didn't want to catch a zert and shear it off.
I had an issue pressing the brass bushing into the equilizer so may have to see if those are available separately later on. But that was an equalizer issue. If the bushing doesn't go into the new equilizer smooth, ream it with a drill bit first so the bushing doesn't get messed up
by:
I did not realize how bad the original bushins in the suspension were. I should have replaced them long before I did. At least I caught it before thr equalizers and springs needed to be replaced also.
This kit was the exact parts that I needed.
The kit arrived very quickly and was in perfect condition.
Thank you so much for the help I received when ordering the parts.
by:
After pulling the travel trailer over some very rough roads, when entering the trailer I found no doors or drawers opened and nothing out of place. The ride was much smoother and the trailer seemed to track better behind the tow vehicle.

  • Replacement Suspension Components For a 2015 Keystone Carbon 327 5TH Wheel Toy Hauler
I do see your 2015 Keystone Carbon 327 5th wheel toy hauler comes equipped with 7,000lb axles. I recommend going with the AllTrek 4000 Equalizers # MR29DR since you are replacing your suspension components. This is a superior equalizer to the Equa-flex # LC145546 style you are using. You should also add either the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember # MR33WR or Drop Crossmember # MR84AR if you have any sewer or other components that interfere with the standard crossmember. You should be able to find this information on the axle tag. What I can tell you is that whichever capacity you have the correct replacement leaf springs measure 26" spring eye to spring eye. The 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # e64SR is currently our only 7,000lb spring we carry. This has an eye to eye measurement of 24-7/8". Since the springs on your 2012 Dutchman Voltage 3950 are likely sagging over the years of use you will want to measure the length of your spring from the center of the eye to the pin in the center of the leaf spring along the radius. If you come up with 13-3/16" this is going to be the correct spring for you. I recommend replacing your shackle straps and bolts...
