Loose hardware can let the axle shift and throw off your suspension. This kit uses 3/8" diameter U-bolts with a 2-1/2" threaded section that clamps your 1-1/2" square axle solidly to the leaf springs. Torque them to 30–50 ft-lbs for a snug, lasting hold that keeps the undercarriage stable mile after mile.
Boat and snow trailers see plenty of water and road grime. The zinc-plated bolts and galvanized plates in this kit resist rust and corrosion so the connection stays clean and secure. Even after repeated dunking or winter storage, the coating keeps the hardware from seizing or flaking apart.
Getting the right match for small-axle setups is simple with this kit. The U-bolts measure 3-5/16" long x 1-5/8" wide inside, 3-5/8" long x 2-3/8" wide overall, and pair with 3-3/8" x 3" plates drilled for 1-3/4" springs. Everything lines up so the axle seats straight and the springs move freely.
No need to hunt for extra pieces—this package comes ready to go with four U-bolts, two plates, and eight 3/8" hex nuts with washers. It’s a direct fit for 2,000-lb square axles, giving you everything needed to mount or refresh the suspension connection in one shot.

Replaced rusty springs on a 14' skiff trailer. Fit perfect, DIY for cheap in the driveway, it would've been easier with an impact wrench. Take their advice, etrailer is the best for a reason, get ALL NEW HARDWARE TOO!! I broke several fasteners removing them, if the springs are bad, so is the hardware. I have done three hitches and a set of leaf springs now with these folks. Their install videos and expert advice made it a breeze to save probably a couple thousand in labor at a shop.

Just ordered another set. Build my own axles with spindles and hubs from e trailer along with 1 1/2 " square tubing. This u bolt kit is complete and the best price I have found. Picture wont show the u bolts but it will show you what I do with them.
Ordered early Friday morning before business hours. Parts arrived the following Wensday afternoon via UPS.
The only concern I had with the two springs I ordered was the cheap nylon bushing they came with. I would have preferred neoprene but the springs were stamped made in China so......

My old u bolts and leaf springs were rusted through so bad I had to cut them off. I had such a hard time finding replacement parts for my little boat trailer with such a small 1 1/2 inch axel. This was exactly what I needed! Fit perfectly with my New 24 5/8 x 1 3/4 inch leaf springs.

Never had a bad order from etrailer
Shipping was fast. Material is A+. Hubs came pregreased and installed. I would recommend a little more padding around the hubs for shipping as the box was ripped. I won’t complain about that as customer service is A+ and they would replace anything damaged if it were to happen. Already placed a second order for more materials now that I’m not skeptical.
The quality of leaf spring was good, unfortunately there were to many u-bolts and they were undersized.
