Great product

Just installed this System in my RV , it’s awesome setup tire temp and psi rotates from each tire , I like it

by:

I purchased this style of TPMS because I feel it’s the best aftermarket version- No bulky valve stem heads to fiddle with or grow legs/ wings. Plus, it shows temps. I needed help with programming it and the very knowledgeable gal who helped me, picked up on the first ring! The display is bright and visible thruout the day and it comes with a repeater that is simple to hook up, although my 26’ class C doesn’t seem to need it. It even has a position on the display for the spare tire, or the 7th tire, in my case. I like the dashboard cradle it comes with, because I can easily hide the unit when parked or storage.
In the year I’ve owned it, we’ve only gone on 4 trips but it’s worked really well each time.
1 drawback might be that the tires need to be dismounted to install the sensors. I had not done proper TPMS research at the time I’d purchased 7 new tires for my rig, and wound up having to go back to the tire shop to have the sensors installed, but hey, live and learn! Well worth it tho. This design leaves your valve stems looking clean/ stock. I put the kind of caps that have the little ball valve at the top, so filling the air can be done with 1 hand. If you are considering new tires for your vehicle, that would be the time to get this system! Another concern might be to know how long the sensors last before needing new batteries. But overall, very happy with my decision to go with this brand and design. One friend of mine has the kind where you have to remove the sensors to fill the air, and it’s a pain. He was looking into the passthru style, but those are also straining on the valve stems, which leads to leaks because as the wheel spins, that big ole sensor is causing drag on the valve stem.
Not mine! Easy Peasy.

Always appreciate etrailers product selections and expertise.

by:

Polite , curious and delivered on time.

by:

Received my order quickly and in good condition. Very excited to get it installed and in use

by:

It’s been a year, so far so good. They have paid for themselves twice now. Only complaint is an occasional glitch/ interference which sets off the alarm periodically. Other than that works great and the temperature and pressure alarms are customizable in case you deal with rough or challenging environments.

by:

Great product from a great company. This is my third time using this TPMS system. I've tried others but this one seems to work best, just get enough repeaters for your application.
It's actually easier and cheaper to buy this through etrailer and they take care of you keeping you updated on your order progress.

by:

Used them for a 9000 mile trip across the country summer of 2024. The alarm started going off saying one tire was 395° and I pulled the RV over on a stretch of highway in the middle of nowhere. No bulge in the tires and they were not hot to the touch. Lots and lots of false alarms for two months. It was super annoying and dangerous to keep pulling over for a ton of false alarms. I kept having to turn it off and reset it over and over again. I would not buy this product again.

by:

The order was correct and delivered on time. The TST TPMS was easy to set up once the tire shop install the sensors in the tires. The monitor is colored and easy to read. The TST TPMS was expensive. If you have ever had a blowout that caused damage to your rv, the cost of the system is will worth it.

by:

I purchased 6 tst internal sensors for our RV with the color monitor. I also purchased 4 flow-through monitors for our jeep, which we tow. The products are awesome and saved us from destroying tires on the RV. On RV’s with dual tires in the back, the inside tires get extremely hot in high summer time temperatures. The sensors taught us not to drive when ambient temperatures are 95 or higher. We have read where numerous RV’ers have had catastrophic blowouts on inside dual tires and our tst sensors allow us to avoid those dangerous situations. We absolutely feel the product should be installed on all R’s and trailers.

by:

So far so good. Nearly one year with the internal sensors and all 6 tires report back very accurately to the monitor. Time will tell if the batteries last the 5 years I was told to expect from them. If so this system will be hard to beat for ease of use.

by:

Peace of mind traveling Tires are at correct pressure

by:

This TPMS is very good. The customer service offered by the manufacturer is exceptional. Our monitor failed and they replaced it and helped me reprogram with the internal sensors already mounted. Would not hesitate to buy again.

  • Will the Band Style TST TPMS Sensors Work with Factory GM TPMS for Trailers
I do have an option for you but the GM TPMS uses a proprietary software, you cannot use another sensor with the program even if they operate on the same frequency per TST. I do know of many others who have run into issues with GM not offering a solution for the larger 16"+ wheels. Therefore, your best option for these larger tires is a standalone system for which I recommend the TST TPMS part # TST34FR which comes with a color dash monitor and four sensors.

  • Is The TST TPMS System TST34FR The Same As Part TST-507-INT-4-C?
Hello Steve, thanks for getting in touch. The TST 507 Series 4 Internal Sensor TPMS System Color Display and Repeater SKU TST-507-INT-4-C and our part # TST34FR are one and the same. We simply use our own unique part numbers for these in place of the manufacturer part numbers. This is to avoid any confusion over too many duplicate or similar part numbers.

  • Looking For TPMS With Internal Tire Sensor For Gooseneck Trailer
Hello James, we meet again. They sure do make a TPMS with internal sensors. Take a look at the TST TPMS # TST34FR. This comes with four internal tire sensors and a color display. Additional sensors can be added if you need to monitor more than four tires. Just keep in mind you will need to use the monitor that comes with the TMPS. There would be no way to tie this into the monitor on your truck. Feel free to reach out with any other questions.

  • Recommended Tire Pressure Monitor for 10 Trailer Tires
Hey Albert, so yes the TST TPMS # TST-507-INT-6-C is guaranteed to work and comes with a limited 3-year warranty. As far as adding sensors go, you can add the remaining 4 sensors with 4 of the Internal Tire Sensor for TST TPMS Systems # TST-507-INT-S1. There isn't a kit that has all 4 sensors so you'd need to add them individually, but if there is anything else I can do for you please let me know below!

  • Recommended Valve Extender Options For A Class A Motorhome
Thanks for the pictures, I can see why you're concerned now. It looks like you have some 135 degree valve extenders that just aren't quite long enough to pass through the hand holes of the wheel cover. You could try using a longer 180 degree extender like part # WM8029180 to extend out pass the hole, but without physically testing it I can't say for sure that 180 degrees wouldn't end up rubbing against the edge of the hand hole. The other option would be to use a hand hole mounted extender...

  • Internal TPMS Sensor Option for a 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 with Aluminum Wheels
Hey Robert, thanks for reaching out! Since your Sprinter has aluminum wheels it wouldn't be a good idea to use a kit like the TST TPMS # TST34FR that uses the stainless steel bands as that would eventually cause galvanic corrosion. For your situation I recommend using the Tuson Towable Tire Pressure Monitoring System # 335TPMS4WIVS instead because the sensor is connected to the valve stem as opposed to wrapping around the wheel itself. With this setup you just have to make sure the brass...

  • What is the Life Span of the Steel Band on the TST Internal Tire Sensors
I contacted the manufacturer in regards to the life span of the band on the Internal Tire Sensor # TST-507-INT-S1. They informed me that the band is made of stainless steel and if installed properly will outlast the life span of the battery which is 4-5 years. For a set that includes 4 internal sensors, the monitor and signal booster you can get the # TST34FR. For a valve stem option there is the # TST-507-RV-4-C.

  • Flow Through TPMS Sensors for Boat Trailer
The TST TPMS # TST-507-FT-4-C you looked at is going to be the best option for a flow through. These are waterproof so you can use them on your boat trailer without having to worry about them leaking. Assuming you keep them on tight and keep the caps on, corrosion shouldn't be much of a problem even with the brass construction. Still, I recommend rinsing them like you would other components with fresh water when you're done using your boat. The only option that for sure won't corrode is...

The internal sensors will provide a more accurate reading for the air pressure and temperature inside the tires. If you were to add a TPMS like the Kit # TST-507-RV-6-C with the inflation kit it will only give you an accurate pressure reading as the air temperature will be different in the extensions than in the tire.
