Question:

I purchased TST 507 tire pressure sensors for my Airstream twin axle trailer. They are the screw on sensors but I can only get the first one to register with the GMC trailer app 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali. I saw something about them not being supported with this configuration. Do you know what TPMS is supported?

The only trailer tire sensors that will work with the factory TPMS on your 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali is the GM kit 85110397 that is sold through GM. These sensors will need to replace the valve stems on your trailer wheels. You cannot use another sensor with the program even if they operate on the same frequency.

I recommend using system like the TST TPMS item # TST-507-FT-4-C. These sensors will monitor the pressure like the GM sensors but unlike the GM sensors they are easier to install and can monitor the temperature inside the tire. This will help you to see if the tires are getting to hot and at risk of having a blow out. This is information that the GM sensor will not help you see.
