Can TST TPMS Be Used With OEM GM Tire Pressure Sensors

Question:
I have 2023 Chevy 3500 and pull a Rockwood 8337RL that has 15 inch tires and the TST internal tpms sensors. Will they work with the GM trailer tire set up? Can they be programmed to the truck?

Expert Reply:
Since the GM TPMS uses a proprietary software so you aren't going to be able to use another sensor with the program even if they operate on the same frequency. So, with that being said, your best option is to use a standalone system like the TST TPMS # TST34FR. This kit comes with it's own dash monitor, as well as 4 tire sensors.
